About
The standard 18-hole Green Tree Golf Course keeps in mind both skilled and inexperienced golfers. This public course has tight fairways lined with trees and greens of Rye Grass. The longest tees have a yardage of 5709, playing to a par of 70.
The golf course has three sets of teeboxes to provide an interesting game. There is also a driving range and practice green for beginners or those that would like some practice. The course is accessible from many major roads such as Routes 30 and 40 as well as the Atlantic City Expressway. The first shot is a difficult par-4 dogleg right that has water, bunkers, and heavy forest to look out for.

Hadn’t played it for a few years .good shape for this time of year Greens were fast smooth The only issue was the cleanliness of the inside of the carts Totally not acceptable during these times
holds water
course was a mess , muddy snd cart path only. hit a few bomb drives and knew they were in the fairway but the balls were plugging and you couldn’t find them. wait til spring to play !!

After a rain storm
Played after two days of a lot of rain. Lots of water on the cart paths. Greens were in great shape and fast. Fairways were in good shape.
Staff is awsome and the 19th hole is great with awsome food and beverages.

This course looks like it would be beautiful in drier conditions
course was very very wet. Cart paths were flooded, mud everywhere, I'm actually surprises the course was open under the circumstances. Because of wet areas, the course will need some TLC. I am disappointed that the pace of play took so long. There was a 20 minute start wait, and close to that amount of wait on each hole. It took us over 5 1/2 hours to complete the course.
I would like to return and play a round at normal pace and under dry conditions.

Good Value
Better than average public course, excellent value for this area, some very strange holes to figure out. Inconsistent fairways and green, 2nd and 3rd cuts of fairways were difficult to hit out of especially wen wet. Interesting marsh hazards adds uniqueness to course, sand traps few but very difficult to hit out of due to sand consistency.

Fairways are really bad
Fairways were mostly crab grass with a little good grass mixed in. Sand traps in bad condition. Greens were good but lots of ball Mark's from players that do not take the time to repair. The pictures shown are in no way representative of actual conditions. Fun layout though.

Waterlogged and crazy slow
Awful experience. Cart path And many portions of course were full of standing water.
Even with spaced out tee times due to COVID, we were waiting a considerable amount of time at every hole due to a slow group. Upon discussing with the ranger, he told us there was t anything he could do since that group came to this course somewhat frequently. Two groups playing behind us left with 4 holes to go, since it was not worth their time

Playability
the course is short in distance that being said it is a target course on several holes.
No driver in half of the holes.

Storm affecting course conditions
It was a decent course unfortunately there was a pretty bad storm the day prior and it was cart path only but the cart path was was pretty washed out.. But the fairways had very long Grass which made it difficult to find your ball especially with it being cart path only. There are some challenging holes. I’d go back once the conditions of the course improved. The staff was very friendly. I’d recommend.
