Centerton Golf Club

I thought I had the 1st tee time but it wasn’t to be. Arrived 20 minutes early and no Pro Shop. After a few others arrived, still no one in the Pro Shop. It’s now after our start and he arrives.

We decided that we would go somewhere else for lunch afterwards.

The course was in good shape for the rate.

The greens are very good

Fairways good with high roughs

Week day is best to play

I like the new carts as the former one were pretty beat. The greens were in pretty good condition although they were more firm than usual. Overall I like the course and the layout

The course could use a little care. Lots of bad patches of no grass. Don’t know why they use stones for filling in the cart paths. Cost was good for a Monday.

The course it’s self I has a great lay out we played 18 holes but beware the fairway is a terrible length and you can lose high vis balls which is a bummer and somewhat frustrating to lose a ball you hit dead center also no car girl and beers are 5 bucks so no refreshments and you can’t bring your own cooler other golfers behind us “they refused to pair” we’re pushing and finally pass us (we were grouped)

I arrived early for a pairing and was told I would be notified when the group arrived. 15 minutes after the tee time I was never told my group arrived and was told to meet them on the 3rd hole. The front desk staff apologized and said he would gift me a free round when I was done for the inconvenience. He wasn’t there at the end of my round and when I called back to confirm I was told that they would not be gifting me the round as promised. Not disappointed about not getting a free round, more of the place giving their word. Thumbs down

Course is in great shape. Can’t beat it for the price. Definitely will play it again.

I play this course a few times each year and find it to be a nice track. Not overly difficult if you "hit 'em fairly straight!" Most times, even if you hit into the trees, you still have a decent chance of playing back out into the fairways, so you don't lose as many strokes. Value is very good compared to the quality of the course. i.e. I don't think it's over priced like many courses. Pace is good. Wild Turkey's meander about, but don't interfere with play.

The course layout was fair. The fairways and rough were not well cut.

I hadn’t played there in a number of years thought I’d try it again but wasn’t happy about the condition of the grass.

If you hit the ball off the fairway, good luck finding it. Grass is entirely to high. Made for a longer day

Nice course, friendly staff. Great course for a low price to get a round of golf in.
