No water
Centerton and white oaks used Covid to raise prices but lazily decided to never have water on the course. This summer was brutal and there’s not one cooler on the course. Obnoxious
Fun course for all skill levels
Pace of play is great with a 4 hour round. The staff is friendly. The layout is not too challenging. The conditions are ok. The price is right. No frills course to go and have a fun relax round.
Shame
For years centerton was a reliable inexpensive day on the course. Sadly the course has fallen into borderline unplayable condition due to several years of minimal upkeep.
Farmland course
It’s a course cut into a farm with no upkeep.
Hit the ball down the middle and still had a hard time finding the ball. Cut the “fairways”.
Nice course for average golfer.
My golf partner and I enjoy the Centerton course for three main reasons. 1) The cost is reasonable. 2) There are sufficient shady spots to sit while waiting for your next shot. 3) It is not a very difficult course. There are several challenging holes, but only a few holes have tough shots over water. We are both seniors, and from the "gold" tees, we both clear the water holes. Most of the fairways are wide enough to contain the average drive without losing the ball, so you can relax and enjoy yourself on the course, get a few pars, and have a good shot at a birdie or two per round. The greens currently have some rough spots, but overall, a relaxing course on a 90 degree day.
Nice course that is a good value
Took my 12 yo son out to play. Course was in good shape. Got stuck behind a slow threesome that made the round a lot longer than needed. This could happen on any course. Other than that, it was a perfect day. I will definitely go back and play again and I would recommend to anyone to give it a try.
In good shape
Not the most creative course but the fairways are wide and the greens were in great shape.
