Great Value
This course was well kept, nice and quiet, and a perfect way to learn the game. Has a little bit of everything and not much of the same thing. There was an interesting mirror on one whole that allowed you to see the flag if u stand with your back facing the hole. I will be back to this course within 2 weeks.
Centerton is fun course to play
Condition of the course is very good right now. I'm just getting back into golf after 10 year layoff. I quit during Tiger's hey day when every body thought they were going to be the next Tiger. I've played Centerton 3 times over the last 2 weeks and each time out has been really good.
Course is fun for the middle handicapper. Some very challenging holes and some easier ones. Afternoons the course is not to busy so pace of play is faster and going as a single is not a problem. Let's you get some practice in if you need it.
Nice round of golf
Course was in nice shape and staff was very friendly. The ONLY fault that we could find was that the cart paths were in bad shape. They have new carts here and to keep them from being beat up they should fix up the paths. Other than that, we were very satisfied.
Great course for the price..........
Ended up pairing up with a gentleman who golfs here quite a bit, I had a very nice time. It was not busy at all due to the weather so we were able to move a good pace. I give it a thumbs up.
Great value
Course is always in decent shape. Nothing too difficult but has plenty of trees if you don't hit it straight. Some short par 5's that give you good chance for birdie. #16 is a tough par 4 dogleg, par is a great score. Can usually get on for under $20 between golfnow and tee time golf pass which makes it a steal. If I lived closer if be there once a week for that price.
Pace of play needed course ranger.
always in good shape. It is close to home (approx. 10 min) and it is a forgiving course with some fairly large greens.
Beware, they pair
Got a hot deal for my brother and I and they paired us with an older couple. May have enjoyed the round more if we didn't get paired up. Greens were nice.
pleasantly surpised
did not no what to expect, but it was a nice course. loved the green complexes. its a few bunkers away from being a very good course. cut the fairways and tee boxes!
Had a great time
Great value for the money. Course is in good shape. Will definitely play here again
Great shape
Golf course was in very good condition, fairways and greens both were very good. Staff was helpful as always.
Great bang for your buck
You can't beat the price at centerton! The greens were in tremendous shape and rolled very true. The fairways and tee boxes were a little rough but overall I enjoyed playing this course. I will definitely be back.
Good No Frills Course
The course has generous fairways with some strategically placed traps. We chose the gold tee box, which significantly shortened the course for us post 65 golfers. It's not the greatest course in the world, but a great value on Golf Now for $15.
nice layout
Not to hard but not too easy,
good to walk,
couple of long holes on the back 9
Needs a makeover
I realize it's early in the season but the tee boxes were a disgrace. Greens extremely slow. Fairway was okay unless you hit a bit to the right or left. Ruts and clumps were everywhere not to mention outside scenery of trucks etc lined up in woods. It didn't help that as we golfed so were two parents with their toddlers screaming and yelling across the fairways. Last time I venture here.
good practice course
Easy course, poor conditions in every aspect. Good for beginners
Home course
We play here quite often and ways enjoy it. Very friendly staff. Nice course. Enjoyed the new golf carts. Good improvement.
Good value, no frills oldie but goodie.
This course is well maintained, and is a steal in terms of value. The layout was fair, and somewhat easy. The course has a certain charm. It's an older track, with an outdated clubhouse, but it's a quality course.
Great disappointment!
The course appears to have fallen on hard times, the greens were terrible, multicolored, and grass had grown over many of holes making it hard to see the hole from more than 10 to 15 feet away. I was shocked and disappointed with the conditions of the course.
