For the money it was a good course to play

Got a real good deal on Golfnow and was able to play less than $15. Can't beat a deal like that. The green were in good shape and the fairways were ok for this time of year. Got to remember it is still January. Tee Boxes were good as well, at most courses the tee boxes were moved way up making the course too short, at Centerton they were not moved up and the course played like it does in the summer. Would recommend playing there for the price.

I like Centerton for the price

When I look for deals on GolfNow, Centerton is always near the top of my list - not necessarily because it's the best, but for a quick round of golf at a great price it's always worth it.

It's only been slow play one time I was there, and I think that was due to a tournament - usually I can get out as a single for a 3 1/2 hour round.

The only downside is the speed of the greens, which I find are very slow compared to other courses. Long putts are hard to make, not because of the read but because you need to take a much longer stroke than normal and it's tough to roll smooth when you do that.

Good course

Centerton is a good course for the weekend hacker. Fairways are open and the holes are not long. Greens are favorable and well maintained. The rates are great and I would recommend this course.
