Worth a trip
Course was in excellent conditions. Greens were perfect. Highly recommend playing here
A Great Round
It was my first time playing the course and the staff from check in to starter to range manager to grill room could not have been more efficient and friendly. The starter gave me the opportunity to play more quickly by moving me to the back nine and joining a group of two players with me as 1 additional player. The back nine is great and we finished in 2 hours on a national holiday.
The course is in excellent condition from tee to green. It is an old private country club currently under Mercer County management, and has largely retained the look and feel of a private club. They have 150 markers which are helpful and carts were allowed to go anywhere when I played. There are many green fairly large side sand traps and they could use more rakes.
Surprised and Impressed
I’ve always been curious to play here. And with the County taking it over, I took the opportunity to catch a $25 dollar deal in the afternoon. Pace of play was slow from people a couple groups in front of us. After 9, they must’ve left and it went smooth the back 9. I was impressed with the course conditions. People were friendly. The layout is cool. And something to eat at the turn was appreciated. I’ll be golfing here again for sure!
Great Condition
This was my first time playing this course. The course was in great condition with smooth and fast greens. The only negative was the driving range was closed due to not having golf ball baskets available.
