Great Condition
Overall the course is in great condition. A few of the tee boxes are not flat, so teeing off with an uphill/downhill/sidehill lie is annoying. Par 3 13th hole is great.

Nice playable course
This course was completely shut down about 8-9 years ago. Mercer County took it over and it is in really nice shape. Very playable with a very friendly staff.

Challenging hilly course in Hopewell.
Love it when yet another private course goes public, especially love it when it becomes another course in my home county’s portfolio. HVGC is a great old school type track with wide forgiving fairways, but small tricky greens to make pars very difficult.
