Weequahic Park Golf Course

The course is infested with people that have terrible golf etiquette and ruin your experience. The people that play here make this course terrible. Too many slow players that have nasty attitudes that ruin the course

The only word to justify my golf experience .

The course seems to be well organized. We checked in and out quickly with the club attendant and off to the tee in no time. The fairways are well kept and greens well maintained. It’s truly a real gem in the midst of an urban landscape.

Fun course and nice greens with great contouring and rolling fairways.

Weeqhuaic is truly a jewel in the rough. Course is in excellent condition. Greens have never been better. Staggering due to coronavirus works well. My favorite local course.

The course has a nice rolling terrain and small greens with good contour and roll nice and true.

course and staff are nice, but play pace was very slow.

Was walking only on the date we played and started late 30 minutes after scheduled tee time because of course pace. Course pace was SLOW. Was kicked off course at 4:30 by ranger because they said they were closing the entrance gate and was not able to finish our round. Great layout and decent course conditions but was very disappointed we weren't able to finish our round, no one in the clubhouse informed us the course was closing at 4:30 at the start of our round. Great golf course ruined by the little things that matter.

Our tee off time 12:30 and we arrived 40min before tee time they said quite busy so we have to wait till our time

but staff out side said can start even 12:20 so asked inside staff for start finally we started 12:30 because inside staff issued ticket and we finished 16th hole and suddenly staff came to us Gas cart must return by4:20pm at that time was 4:10pm so we finish rush 17th hole and could not play 18th hole .

Why they did not say from the first cart must return 4:20pm ,offcource May be we asked if start 12:30pm too short time return 4:20pm cannot finish less than 4hour for 18holes

Is this course policy like this? If we know we do not book.

Nice little course in the Hood! Challenges course play management because of the tightness. The greens were in great shape, very impressed with them. I’ll be back.

Course is a great practice facility to play regularly and hone your skills. Greens are in good shape. Some tee boxes could use love. Better to walk than cart. Play on weekdays on the earlier side to avoid crowds.

Pleasantly surprised Didn’t know what to expect seeing this course almost in the inner city of Newark but it was in very good shape the layout was well planned and the course is in excellent shape specially the greens

Starter was straight up rude. Had to wait 40 minutes to tee off after our tee time. He let his 4 groups of friends tee of before our group. And don’t try to go into an empty cart before he tells you unless you want to get yelled at.
