Weequahic Park Golf Course

Starter Steve and Ranger Rick were a handful. Foursome playing at a 13-15 min pace and they were barking to speed up. They even went as far as to rev their gas cart engine while in backswing motion. Finally one of my playing partners addressed them. Greens were a mess. A lot of sand made putting interesting.

Like some of the other folks have said here, the greens have a serious problem. There are spots with no grass that they filled with sand and there are other spots that they've attempted to patch with little squares of turf surrounded by sand. The parts that do have grass are cut to almost fairway length, it's like putting in the 1890s! I needed an old wooden putter! Actually probably would have had better luck pudding with my hybrid.

Some fun holes but overall, nope.

As other reviewers said the greens are absolutely horrendous worst I’ve ever seen stay away from here

The holes are very tight (you hear someone screaming fore every 5-10 mins). Tee boxes are right on top of the greens. And some greens were covered in sand so were hard to read. Other than that the course had good undulations and was fairly well maintained

The course was playable. Holes on the back 9 are tightly arranged. Several balls for opposite holes crossed our paths--FOUR.... I would play again. Beware of the OBs on back 9. I will pay again.

Great course.. Greens a little beat up form either rain or recent beat wave.

Well was one of the world's best kept secrets, but right now the greens are unplayable somebody screwed up putting the rong chemicals down an destroyed the greens ,last why would u patch the greens makes no sense made it worse burnt them then tried to patch it up ,someone has to answer to this ,drop the price until this is repaired bottom line,overall great county golf course, friendly, but if you like wagering on the game dont fo it now not the place to be right now,

Course is well kept. Pretty narrow on some holes but manageable. A few blind tee shots that make it interesting. Layout makes it challenging but you can walk this course. Greens are like a carpet, not getting much roll or break which is a plus for me. Course is in great shape. I like it. Can’t beat it for the price. Will definitely keep coming and playing again. The breaks on the golf cart have to be stomped on to have the cart stop well at least the one I had. And some big guy that works at the club house could use a little re-training on customer service. Course is worth playing.

Very nice course in Newark. Course is well layed out, benefits those with a shot fading right. Conditions of course were ok, lots of rain recently and the course had a few spots that showed it. Great greens.

coarse is in great shape. however perhaps there should be more signs or the golfers maybe should be reminded to repair their ball marks., also employees should get started earlier in changing pin placements and cutting greens, it would avoid any holdup in play.

Very slow round. Lots of walkers. Tight layout with a lot of bad golfers is recipe for disaster.
