About
Nestled in the hills of Scotts Mountain, Harkers Hollow Golf Club was carved from a sloping hillside, giving it a challenging terrain with plenty of elevation changes. Opened in 1929, the golf course has a classic layout designed by Robert White, the first president of the PGA of America. Although it is a seemingly mild 6,551 yards from the back tees, the course plays much longer and harder thanks to the undulating terrain. The layout does offer a few lengthy holes as well as some interesting par 3s. The greens are small and fast with breaks ranging from subtle to dramatic. There is hardly any water but the Lopatcong Creek does run the entire length of the golf course and requires the occasional carry. The par-3 fifth hole is the club's signature. It is particularly notable for its scenery, which is why it has served as the backdrop for many weddings.

What’s there a farm houses
They should plant corn soybeans on the course or sell it to someone to actually take care of it. There membership they offer is a complete scam. They should play you to play it.
turtle pace
played here many times. this sunday was slowest ever. saw a 5-some ahead of us taking repeated multiple shots with only 3 bags between them. back nine took 3 hours, no ranger. they have $199 membership and place is packed with novice golfers, most walking since they have to pay for cart.

love this course, does it need some attention? sure. overall good challenge with mountain slope coming into play. beautiful views. would highly recommend.
Too much rain
The weekend dropped at least 3+ inches of rain which made conditions a bit hazardous.
The greens rolled great do early in the season.
The Staff is always pleasant and friendly.
HARKERS is making strides year by year with improvements made annually.
Nice effort by everyone to bring it back where it was years ago.
Unreal Value
Sunny day mid March didn’t expect a lot and was pleasantly surprised, obviously not in prime condition but very playable and great value.
Harkers is great
The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars for pace was the guy we played with. Yawn!
Not bad for winter conditions
We played in frigid temperatures and enjoyed our outing. There are some long-standing bare spots and rocky places but they are rebuilding two of the tee boxes and the greens are in good shape.
