I’ve played a lot of NJ courses, but I have to say I was impressed with this course. It’s very hilly, narrow and requires accuracy. The fairways and greens were in great shape, but a few tee box placements were confusing - possibly due to repairs. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed playing here and look forward to returning with a better game.

Outstanding County Course

Played at Galloping Hill once before years ago but was pleasantly surprised to see the improvements. Excellent amenities would be an understatement. It’s the best of the best. Layout is tremendous with the only downside being one Par 5 until the final hole. Conditions were very good. Looking forward to returning in the near future. Highly recommended course.

First time playing the course in the summer and I was impressed. Public golf can really be a let down in the NYC area but Galloping Hills was no let down. Greens running fast, fairways have great turf and the rough was consistent. The layout is fantastic with plenty of interesting holes for all golfers. One of the best public experiences of the year for only $45! Go play this course!
