Golfer Reviews
Great bones. Would love to see it in summer.
Snuck in an early March round at Galloping Hills. Even at this time of year with top dressed greens you could see how the course would be a bear in mid-summer. The ‘Hills’ are in play on most holes with 25+ uphill climbs on 4 so there is some home field advantage. Jump on any June tee time as the high grasses will frame most holes to add to the challenge.
Great course
Top tier public facility
As a flagship public golf course Galloping Hill is the complete package. From expansive practice facilities to a supplemental 9 hole learning course it has every golf amenity checked off. The main course's 18 holes are varied and challenging. From tight landing zones, severe elevation changes, water hazards and doglegs all challenges are represented. The course conditions are fair and well kept. That being said the price is in the premium public range and the course can get busy. Expect average pace at best and don't be surprised by long waits.
Excellent Course
Despite lots of soft & muddy spots and chewed up spots, especially on back nine, and crazy weather changes all day, enjoyed this course & looking forward to playing there again.
Course Review
I would like to have the opportunity to play this course again because when I played last Sunday the weather conditions were terrible. It was raining and cold the entire time, so if there is any chance ai could get a rain check that would be incredible. Only got to play 5 holes which I couldn’t even enjoy. I would like to play in the near future the entire course because I really liked the layout. Here is my number if you will give me the opportunity to play again.

Hills Galore
Loved my first time at galloping hills. It’s definitely a very hilly course but great for all skills.
Not worth the $$
The course was soaking wet and cart path only (not their fault)..I can accept that. Still, the course was not in good condition (aside from the water). There were inexperienced, rude golfers, extra riders in carts, overall a very lax atmosphere. Maybe we caught it on a bad day but it was certainly not worth what we paid.
