Warrenbrook Golf Course
About
Warrenbrook Golf Course is one of five courses operated by the Somerset County Park Commission. Although it is a seemingly mild 6,372 yards from the back tees, don't let the yardage fool you. This course is a formidable test. The layout is very tight, routed through dense stands of mature trees that loom above the fairways and frame the greens. In addition to being heavily wooded, the rolling terrain provides many tricky ups and downs ranging from subtle to dramatic. You'll be hard-pressed to find a flat lie on this golf course and you should also be prepared for a few blind shots. To top it all off, there are also a few strategically placed bunkers. Your accuracy will be put to the test at Warrenbrook Golf Course, as will your course-management skills.

Worst course in NJ
Probably the worst course in NJ. There is no fairway (only rough) and the pro shop woman was extremely rude for no reason. Additionally when waiting to tee off, the starter began to actually scream at me. This is absolutely ridiculous and the course should be shut down. DON’T WORK ON A GOLF COURSE IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE MISERABLE AND MISTREAT INNOCENT NICE PEOPLE. SCUMBAGS.
Great value
Nice course and in decent shape. Fairly challenging, many blind shots.
Unreasonable Course
The course lay out is challenging with very narrow fairways, many blind shots and side hill fairways. All of the greens are tiny compared to other modern golf course. Blind shots, hilly fairways in all directions, and even tiny greens are all fine with me as I know every course has its distinctive character. What was so ridiculous about this course is the length of rough next to fairways and also around the greens. I don't know if this was by design or lack of maintenance. I have been playing golf about 25 years and I have played many many different courses. But with tiny greens and narrow fairways, the length of rough everywhere, especially around the greens were just downright ridiculous to me. I thought I was playing in the US Open. A golf course can be very challenging but still fun to play. But this was neither. It was just unfair and frustrating. Somebody was sleeping on the job. Mow the grass will ya? Will never go back.
Will return
First time playing WB in a couple of years. Course is in good shape, greens a bit slow but in good shape.
4 walkers ahead of us caught them on 4. We played they after the 9th hole.. from there the pace was fine
The rough is thick, found many more balls than I lost. Two lost balls inexplicable. Thought I was in the fairway but couldn’t find the balls.. must have rolled into that thick rough a s disappeared
Great Condition
Course was in really great shape! Challenging but fun.
Great Public Golf Course
I played 18 holes at Warrenbrook Golf Course on Wednesday around 1:30 PM. It’s a really nice course with soft greens. Most of the holes are sloped either left or right, with many doglegs, and you often can’t see the flags due to elevation—quite a challenge! It’s a great public course overall. The only downside is that there’s no clubhouse available for food or drinks.
Great value
Couse is well maintained and staff is friendly. No water available on the course. No food or beverages at yhe clubhouse, just some vending machines. Pace is as you expect at a public course.
