Warrenbrook Golf Course
About
Warrenbrook Golf Course is one of five courses operated by the Somerset County Park Commission. Although it is a seemingly mild 6,372 yards from the back tees, don't let the yardage fool you. This course is a formidable test. The layout is very tight, routed through dense stands of mature trees that loom above the fairways and frame the greens. In addition to being heavily wooded, the rolling terrain provides many tricky ups and downs ranging from subtle to dramatic. You'll be hard-pressed to find a flat lie on this golf course and you should also be prepared for a few blind shots. To top it all off, there are also a few strategically placed bunkers. Your accuracy will be put to the test at Warrenbrook Golf Course, as will your course-management skills.

Great course but damp
Love this course, it offers just enough challenge for my level of play. Course was damp when we played but it comes with playing any course this time of year. Definitely be back out there a few more times this year.
Decent Hilly Course
There's nothing overly special about this place, but its ribbon fairways and elevation changes will keep you thinking. But it is in good shape. Pace of play can be an issue, and the staff is surly at best. Get it cheap and you could do worse.
Greens are the best I seen in a long time
Very pleased with the condition of the course and more impressed with the condition and true roll on the greens, very happy with my course selection for this past weekend
Warren Brook is close to my home so +1 but layout and condition is poor
16 of 18 holes are basically built into a hillside. almost every lie is above or below your feet. there a number of blind holes.
Great value...$35 for 18 holes w/cart
Pretty challenging course with narrow and sloping fairways and blind tee shots. Unfortunately we only got to play 9 holes due to excessive rain.
Fun Course...Fast Greens!
I enjoyed this well-maintained muni. The greens were super fast and rolled true. Fairways were solid and rough wasn't too bad. It's a tight course and often people were playing wrong fairways. Only complaint about the course itself was the water-filled bunkers (thankfully I didn't find one).
Thought the staff was friendly, but as someone said before, the starter (a really nice Asian woman) was waiting at 16 green to get our carts and get out of there. We could've walked 17 & 18 but by then it was too dark to track the ball.
The only real complaint was the wait to start. Had a 3:20 tee time, but had to wait about four groups to get going.
Overall I thought it was a great value ($38pp w/ cart on a Sunday) and would love to actually get 18 in sometime.
Good county course with good price from Golfnow
The course is well-maintained. We were informed at the start that golf league will have priority to cut-in in the middle of our round. It happens at 14th hole. The golf course were backed up from there. However, the worse part is the golfers in the group behind us. The Korean lady in the group behind us went in front of us to the lady tee to wait before we even tee up from back tee. Moreover, her husband asked us not to wait and to tee off when the group in front of us is in the middle of fairway about 230 yards. It might be our bad luck to have such a group behind us. Nevertheless, the tee time management could be better when golf league will take place.
Had a great time
Had a great time--A little buggy but it was a very hot day. Course was in great condition considering it's been so hot. Look forward to playing again.
Course in good condition
Course in good condition weaving through the mountains, not a lot of level shots. Water supplied on course (ice cold) great on a hot day.
Stright drives are a necessity.
Many narrow fairways require control over distance. The course is well maintained and has a good variety of holes. Played on a very hot day, so the pace of play was exceptional.
The workers have a bad attitude
I rented a cart and returned it around 8:25 pm. There were no specifications as to when I was to return the cart. However, a worker gave me a dirty look because I did not return the cart at a time that was convenient for HIM. He told me it was my fault that he couldn't leave at the time he wanted to although he never told me I had to be back at 8:00 pm.
Average
Most important thing to me is always green conditions and they were good; decent speed and smooth. What just killed was the pace of play. We got behind a foursome of walkers, one was shooting 200. I asked the marshall to talk to them to let us through because they were going to back the whole course up. He said he talked to them and they would let us through, but they never did. Not sure if he was telling the truth, but either way, the round took just under 5 hours. If I could whip around there in 31/2 hours, I would go back because I think the price was right ($49 on weekend w/ cart), but I don't ever foresee that happening here so unfortunately this course is off the list.
Over priced
Although it was a very quick 18 the course is over priced and no where near worth some of the prices they try to charge it would be a decent course for 15 dollars but I will never play it again unless I get a deal for 15 or under, which will probably be never. It's a shame cause the land on it has potential.
Very Good County Course
Very nice public course. In geat shape. Very nice staff.
This course has good condition.
I like it. but I can't recommend it to my friends .
Well maintained
Course is in great condition. Fun track. Pretty open but still challenging. Course knowledge will go a long way.
Nice enough for a county course
This course is generally well maintained. It could use some more yardage markers and some more signage for people who don't play there normally (or at the very least put a map on the scorecards).
peaceful. fair par 4 challenging par 3.
I enjoyed fairly tough par four. Hole 17 was challenging getting over the watering two Stokes.l enjoyed space between other players. Not having to worry about someone playing up on u or too slow. I will enjoy making warren brook golf course feature course.
The last Golfnow teetime is 2:50pm. You returned cart at 8:25pm. What were you doing for 5 1/2 hours? The employeee hadnt said anything until you asked. It would seem that its not all about HIM , its all about YOU.
