Great course
Great course, friendly staff. Can get crowded and play slow on weekends but that’s every course in north jersey. Course is always well maintained & the bar has great food.
Dreadful etiquette
This may have been the worst etiquette I’ve ever seen on a golf course.
People backing up every hole to flirt with the cart girl the cart girl takes 20 minutes to make one drink there’s music being played by people at the tee box and refuse to turn it down or off. No one is yelling fore for a bad shot I was hit once and my cart was hit once. This course is usually so much better but they’re letting drunk d bags play. I will never return to this crap hole

Well worth the money - made me want to play the West course too it was so well kept
Gem of a Course
PVGC is outstanding from the get-go. Staff is friendly, professional and makes you feel welcome- and they are always busy! Great attitudes from all make for a very nice experience.
Course is manicured to a point that private clubs would be envious.
The bar, especially outside patio on weekends is a destination that we enjoy regularly. Good food, great drinks, service and live bands!!!

Best course for best value
You will never find a course with this condition at this low price. Friendly staff, enough space between teams....good music....much more to look for
Excellent course..bunkers need better sand
Everything about this course is pristine,
My only problem is the sand in the bunkers..great value for a public county course.

An excellent course and a great value! Truly amazing condition the course is in and it’s hard to believe it’s a public course! We’re very satisfied and we’ll go back against.
Expensive for what it is
County course, and very expensive if you’re out of county. Would be OK if it were on par with a Morris course like Sunset Valley, but while well maintained the layout was very odd, especially on the front 9. A number of holes had trees overhanging the tee shot, and constant dog legs. No yardage markers to be found. Staff was friendly, and we had fun, but not in a rush to go back.
