greens need work
greens need work, new holes are great, was fun to play difficult
local knowledge needed
beautifully maintained mix of an original 8 holes w/ 10 new ones...mature trees obscure corners of the doglegs leaving a first-timer w/ a lot of doubt about the proper angle of attack...greens were very smooth w/ nice speed...good-looking clubhouse w/ a small pro shop & a big restaurant & bar...oh, a the carts are really zippy!
This course is a good challenge
This course is a good challenge, allot of trouble to get into if your ball is off line, But the course needs more character, there is only one tee box on the back nine, a par 3 with a beautiful tee box with rocks and flowers, if there was more of this, this course would really get more recognition.
Be good with your putter
This is a fun course to play and it's well maintained. There are some ground under repair areas due the winter kill common on most courses in the area, but they are being taken care of. Some challenging holes with blind shots from the tees. Greens are challenging and fast so your putting needs to be in top form to score well.

greens are above average some winter kill here and there and fairways were mostly good
Nicest thig about this course was the golf cart
Glad I found a deal on golf now. Definitely would not pay $53 to play this course. Lots of greens needed attention
Cannon GC has fast greens!
I Played this course for the first time this year and enjoyed it. Not all greens looked great but all rolled fast and true. Course has some forced carry's, blind shots, water hazards for a great variety of holes. Foursome time to complete was 4 hours so course maintains a good pace of play.
Great Course Normally....
Cannon is one of my favorite courses and I usually play it a couple times a year. The back nine layout is fabulous and an enjoyable play.
The greens are normally in pristine condition, unfortunately, this time they were a bit rough due to the late spring and some of the weather in May. That being said, I'll be back again this season. Love this course.

This year in particular is a tough year for many courses. There is lots of winter kill, tee boxes are in poor condition. Fairways are well cut but winter kill on 25% with bare spots and ground under repair. In regular years, this course is beautiful and challenging.
Some new holes since the last time I played the course.
Course was in pretty good shape. Tough year for winter kill. Some the greens and fairways must have taken a beating.
The course was good and challenging on some holes but the greens and fairways definitely needs some attention.
The obstacles on this course was what makes the course enjoyable and challenging; however, some of the greens and fairways as i mention from above do needs attention otherwise, the course is good.
