Great course, friendly staff, and good price
The starter is awesome. Dick makes everyone feel welcome and gets your round started on a positive note. Such a great guy. Pace of play is good and although grounds are being worked on right now, it’s a peaceful day at Westwood so I overlook the minor necessary maintenance.

Great Value
Course is being maintenanced nonetheless it was a very enjoyable round of golf. Greens are tricky and pin placements even trickier! Very friendly staff and pace of play was great.

New owners, but changing the wrong things.
I haven’t played here in 7-8 years since the previous owner was so disrespectful to her guests. Nice weekend in November - decided to try it since I saw “new owners”. Staff was “nice”, BUT - the “don’t do this, can’t do that, etc.” is very negative and not really conducive of a warm and friendly expierence. Tee times are too close together for the quality of play they get. We waited from the start all the way until hole 8. The rangers stepped in and it got a little better. That was nice to see. You can tell they are spending some money on the course - starting to put in asphalt cart paths which will help define the course a little more. The greens were well maintained but littered with ball marks (again just the quality of players), fairways aren’t great and isn’t clearly defined with the rough. They need a driving range absolutely, without a doubt if they want to gain attention. There is just not the personal attention and warm feeling I want out of a golf club experience. It’s a mediocre track with a mediocre player experience.

we played 9 holes then were asked if we would mind coming back to do the last 9 holes - since they were going we working on the course.

It’s a mess and they only let us play 9 holes. The course itself is in terrible condition

Bad course for the money
65 dollars for thi course in its condition is robbery. I don’t know if I would play it for $20 dollars that’s how bad it was. Tees, fairways, and greens all in poor condition.

Good Fall Conditions
Course was in good conditions. Staff was doing a good job clearing leaves from course. Greens in good conditions. Tee boxes were in fair condition which is a shame because it looks like many had sod recently. However, it seemed like a lot of the sod was cut too short and dying.

Terrible conditions
The greens were riddled with dead patches and monster divots—ones that would be fixed by course staff—as well as covered in leaves. This made putting extremely difficult. Tee boxes seem to be rarely moved. No divot mix by the tee boxes so you’re standing in holes wherever you line up. Would not recommend playing here. There are better courses for the price.
