Great Round
Nice course. Shorter distance, but makes up for it with narrow fairways and blind greens. Very challenging par 3s
Only improvement would be tee boxes, but the summer has been unseasonably hot. Greens and fairways were in good shape

Decent, but not great
Course would be very nice if it was in better condition. I have to give the benefit of the doubt because I believe they just aerated the greens. But tee boxes were poor and fairways were average. Pace of play was okay. I shot one of my better rounds at this course (it was the first time I played there) but I wouldn’t return for the price they’re asking. Paid $59 for almost 8:00am. Wouldn’t pay more than $35 to play there again

Save your money....
New owner took over a year or 2 back and it has gone down hill to barely a course. The fairways are full of weeds or grass destroyed by heat and arts. Greens are soft with potmarks and tee boxes are almost non existent. The sand is gone in the traps around greens so be prepared to bounce your club like playing on concrete. Rarely a ball washer and almost no water out on the course, especially the back 9.
Oh yeah the new owner tore out the men's lockers to put in a simulator.....yes a simulator while there is a whole course outside the door...or what used to be a course.
As far as the 19th hole, they fired the best cook they had.... and make sure you don't play after work on a weeknight because the kitchen will close on you.

Horrible Conditions
The layout for this course is unique, challenging and can be fun. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The condition of the course is abominable. Anyone to say otherwise is either lying or doesn’t know any better.
Tons of crab grass on the fairways and greens - so much that I struggled to find my ball IN A FAIRWAY. Large dead patches also on fairways/greens. Tee boxes can’t get much worse - completely beat up. Though somehow it’s unbelievably crowded on the weekends. My guess is because there aren’t many options for golf in the particular area.
It’s very much a hard hat course as well. Many tees and greens are dangerously close to each other and well within striking distance.
Only started playing this course a few years ago, so perhaps at one point it was in respectable condition. That is not the case currently. Based on their website, they’re stating that the course is ‘under new ownership’. These new owners clearly have stopped the general maintenance or simply don’t care. Either way they should be embarrassed to advertise that.

Lost it’s Shine
Haven’t played Westwood in quite a few years. It used to be a neat little course and usually in good shape. However the course is in HORRIBLE shape. For $62 you would expect decent conditions. Multiple tee boxes were merely dirt and small patches of crab grass. Burnt out tee boxes, and Fairways were spotty. Greens were sub par. very slow very soft and banged up. The fairways also had crab grass on quite a few holes and others you couldn’t tell fairway from rough. I’m hoping they put some money into reseeding and bringing back this course to an acceptable condition. I wouldn’t recommend playing here until they fix all the issues.

An okay day
This course is confusing for first time players.... The holes aren't very clear and the yardage and targets aren't always correct. Could greatly benefit from a nice in cart GPS system. The greens were slow and okay but for the money at $60 I expected a bit better. The back 9 was much more enjoyable than the front... Not a lot of water or sand but trees everywhere. For $30-$40 this is worth it... Not $60.

Brutal Course
The course was in excellent condition. Great selection of Tee boxes to choose from. Be careful which tee box you choose, because the beginning of the fairway could be up to 225 yards to reach. lol

Lots of ups and downs
Its a rather tight course with a few challenging doglegs, including tricky pin placement. Some of the most unique greens I have seen. One specifically has a large roll in the middle separating the green in half vertically. Interesting layout. Fairways were is decent shape. Unfortunately, many people do not replace divots, so it can be a bit choppy. Greens, aside from the challenges mentioned, are the holding their own. It appears the ground crew keeps up with them as best possible. However, people do not repair ball marks and spike tears, so you'll encounter greens that could use some TLC. A little golf etiquette goes a long way. The rangers could definitely be more aggressive with enforcing this. I would certainly play again for the interesting layout. Though, I think the hot deals could provide better bang for their buck, considering the likes of Ramblewood and The Links are going to less frequently.
Avoid the weekends to avoid the wild ball flight with little to no "fours". Its a jungle out there! I'm sure this course is great during the week!

Course making improvements
Course was a little burned up but that is expected around this time of year. Course is making improvements by adding back tees and the staff is so much nicer since the new owners took over I haven’t played this course in years due to the old owner being so nasty and clueless and refused to give her my money!! I now go here often because the staff is nice and treat there costumers with respect. Great job Westwood!!
