Westwood Golf Club

Course is in considerably great condition with clean fairways and greens with their own personalities. I do believe it should be cheaper for what it is.

When off as scheduled. We were a threesome and played the front 9 in 90 minutes and the back nine about 100 minutes. Course great shape except the green had a lot of divots. But that is from the golfers, so putting was a little shakey. There was nothing to eat except snacks in pro shop. But for the money we had a great time. Our tee time was 1:04

Course was in good shape. Pace of play was a little slow, but that wasn't the fault of the rangers,. They were out trying to push where they could. Just the nature of the course I think because of the design. A fairly good number of holes that play back into each other which can slow things down and there are a few holes on the back where tee shots can easily stray onto the tee boxes of other holes making "FORE!" a commonly heard phrase. A couple things that effected the experience of the round were that they have no beverage cart on the course and it was a very hot, humid day and there were water stations on the course that were empty. Other than that, a decent course for a decent price.

Great shape considering the weather. Everyone was friendly. Price was not too high for the condition. Relatively short but challenging.

I’ve played there many times and found it interesting challenging, and fun. Plan to play it many more times.

this course is starting to shape up - noticeable changes all for the good - we had a foursome and we finished in just under 4 1/2 hours 9comfortable pace. pro shop small but restaurant very nice.

Since the new owners purchased the course, my frequency of playing this course has increased, often giving them a high rating. Already this season, played here multiple times, as usual the course was in great condition. While not the longest or most challenging course, one does use every club in their bag. The main issue I have recently here is with how the staff, which usually is the same person, in regards to utilization of carts. First, which is for all courses, if two people book a tee time, why does each person pay the full cart fee, it should be split between the two. Now to the issue at Westwood, I often golf alone, so of course I do not mind being paired up with groups of 2 or 3, but the last few time the same employee keeps telling me I have to share a cart with someone I do not even know. If i paid for a cart, I want my own cart, not be forced to ride with a stranger, the excuse recently was, "well we are running out of carts", not my problem, buy more carts.

Friendly staff. Course has a mini feel to it. Slow greens. Poor bunkers. A few interesting doglegs with risk- reward options if you know the layout.

Ok course for "getting out" if you get low greens fee

This is a nice little course that has a really nice layout, but is a bit on the shorter side, but the slopes and speed of the greens are the defense, especially since the new owners took over ! The conditions are improving every time I go play here - will continue to see how good it can get
