Beekman Country Club - Highland/Valley

I played Beekman with two friends of mine. It was a very hot & muggy day, but we got out on time and played the course in 3 1/2 hours. We never encountered a hold up...in fact, we didn't see any golfers in front of us at all. The two friends that joined me drove up from Queens, New York because, more often then not, we can play a round in 3 1/2-4 hours on weekdays. They have 27 holes which gives them some flexibility in controlling the flow of play. The price is right as well...most times, we can get a deal on GolfNow for $27-35 per person.

I think they rake and then water the traps so when they bake in the sun they become concrete. Cannot explode from most traps, you musy pick it clean.

A bit disappointed that we couldn't play Taconic due to a large kids group with the pro. Everything else was fine. Some greens still had frost damage from the winter, but did not affect play.

Bought a hot deal for a group of 4. Excellent value! Highly suggested.

All of the staff are super friendly!!!! Course is in very nice condition.. I love playing this course and they have 3 9's!!!.

Decent course, nothing too difficult on it. Rough is kept short so scoring is easier. Green conditions were hit or miss.

I have played this course many times over the last 3 years, there are some very well designed holes to play. Winter has been rough on a lot of the courses and this is an example of that fact. There are several greens with over 50% bare spots still showing, and still 1 temp green in each of the three 9's putting is not a lot of fun over the bare spots.

Greens are in very rough shape. Overall course upkeep is really lacking also

I love this course!!! Everyone there is friendly and remembers you when you go back every year!!!plus,, what i like is you can actually see the money goinnback onto the course,, we try an play this course every year to at least start an finish our year off

The course itself is good, and since there are 27 holes, the pace of play is usually good. The big issue? The greens are in horrific condition, which is understandable after that winter. I personally think they should offer cheap play for a couple weeks, and have all temp greens to let them recover. I can't see them improving with consistent play, and they are BAD! The current weekend rate is too much given that putting is impossibe outside of a couple feet. I currently only recommend this course if they properly fix the greens, or you get a deep discount

Was a cold and windy morning. We played quickly. No one pushing us or holding us up. Some leaves on a few holes made finding balls sometimes difficult. greens were fast and course conditions excellent for fall golf. Elevation changes and a few doglegs made placing the tee shot critical to scoring well. Will be back. Had been more than a few years since I played this course.

Good Condition, fast and challenging greens! We got a hot deal on Golfnow and it was well worth it!! Fairways and greens were in great condition, a couple of tees could use a little work. Really quick greens - reminded my of California greens. I would recommend the course...

Overall the course was in excellent shape. Greens were very fast and true. Leaves were taken care of the best I have ever seen there. Unfortunately when they had to move the driving range to the back and take out the first hole they ruined the valley. The Big tree fell down on the fifth hole. The seventh par three green was terrible... The 6th hole on Valley Nine, be careful after hitting your drive. Because you go so close to the 7th hole on the cart path my GPS gave me the distance to the 7th green.

There had been plenty of rain the previous night plus additional amounts in the morning, however the course was in very good shape for a 10:52 tee time plus there were very little leaves on the course during a windy fall morning.

Very nice course. Very challenging for a player of my caliber. 20-22 hadicapp. One of my buddies played for the first time yesterday at beekman and said it was very good

not my first time here at beekman.as usual a great round of golf.would recommend to anyone who asked.course conditions were great. J carroll
