Played here for 3o yrs, guess prices are sign of the times
Staff very friendly, course in good shape. Golfed 9 holes with my Dad with a cart. Came out to be just over $80 with tax. Maybe that's just what golfing costs now but that's just not a very good value, sorry. Im sure other surrounding courses are similar I just happen to think that's about $15-20 bucks too much for NINE holes While I'll still probably golf this course occasionally , I'm definitely going to save the gas money and golf places like Bluff Creek that aren't so far out. Also didn't dig the special Friday rates. Weekdays are M-F not M-T, a lot of courses still agree with me. All in all though had fun
Much improved
The changes they have made to this course have made it very enjoyable. Played there a few times last year and this winter. Conditions are very good now and a fun layout. Will definitely be playing again once the snow is gone (again).
Course Conditions Much Improved - Fun Track!
Kudos to the owners for making significant improvements to the course conditions including the greens. Really fun Joel Goldstrand design with 6 par 3s, 6 par 5s and 6 par 4s. If you haven't been there in a while, add it back on your west metro play list.
Much Better Now
The new owners have improved Shadowbrooke 10 fold and course conditions have been improved significantly. Looking forward to going back.
Dramatic Improvements and Great Layout and Conditions Now
If you haven't been to Shadowbrooke recently, add it back to your list of courses to play in the West Metro.
Significant improvements to the greens and course conditions with friendly staff make it a great golfing experience. Love the Joel Goldstrand design with 6 par 5s, 6 par 3s and 6 par 4s.
Terrible Course
This course was very overwhelming bad and it may be in part because of the current monsoons we have had, but I was still expecting more. First of all the guy running the clubhouse was more happy to see the record of golfers in a day broken than the terrible pace of play. We played the front 9 in 3hrs and the back in 2hrs, which many holes we sat behind 2+ groups which were also waiting. The price and experience were very ridiculous for the quality of the course and amenities they offered.
Thirsty
Make sure you buy your beverages in the clubhouse. Saw the cart once on the 16th hole. First and only time.
Nice Track
Nice track,! About an hour's drive, worth it.
Greens were in good shape, a little long and fairly slow rolling, but consistent throughout the 18.
Tee boxes were okay for the most part. Traps in excellent condition. Staff super friendly, and pace of play was excellent. Easy to get out of trouble, a moderately challenging course... I will play it again!
Hot day but at least it was humid ha ha
Played at 11 done by 2:30 nice pace of play good fairways and greens course continues to add upgrades. easy drive from city can’t beat the price. If you haven’t played here l hope you give it a try.
Standing water
The course was not in good shape. We did have thunderstorms the night before but the tee boxes where not cut and some of the greens where in bad shape.
Shadowbrooke
We booked and paid for 18 holes with cart on-line. System said we were walking. Had to show the cashier the email that confirmed our cart golf.
Course came through the winter nice. Greens were good for April.
The day I played it had rained most the night before so the course was wet but the greens were great for April which bodes well for when the weather warms up and the sun actually shines and the grass starts to grow.
Fairways were also in good shape but wet. Some of the tees were a little beat up as they had the par 3’s using the same tee box for all sets of tees.
All in all a good value for an early season round.
