You can't believe that it can be more beautiful but it is with the full foliage! Photo submitted by ReneNorton on 06/22/2015
Gorgeous mornings
I had a membership for this first time last year and would frequently stop off at ShadowBrooke on my way in to the Twin Cities for some early morning pre-work golf. It is always so pretty and peaceful. A great way to start the day! I've already re-upped for this year. Can't wait. It is a favorite place for my adult sons and I to meet and get in a round while catching up. We always have a great time and it is so affordable for everyone, whether you walk or ride.
Beautiful Course
This is a great course! I love playing Shadowbrooke. It's beautiful, well maintained, and the staff is very friendly. I would definitely recommend this course. Excellent value.
Fantastic Colors, Peaceful Landscape, Manicured with Care
Shadowbrooke in the fall has striking colors, a rolling landscape, and ownership that treats you like you really matter. The course is fun to play, with its mix of short and long holes that reach back into tall mature maple and oak trees. It's an outstanding break from some of the big city courses, nestled out on the west side.
Beautiful
This course is beautiful. Love all the holes that wind through the woods.
Would for sure recommend to friends and family
Shadowbrooke GC is a mature and beautiful course. Very fun to play for all levels of skill. Had a great time playing it!
Bang for your Buck
You won't find a course in the west metro that is a better value than Shadowbrooke. The beautiful and fair design exceeds other courses where you would be paying $10-$20 more per round. Nice blend of woods and open holes.
Shadowbrooke
Course is a nice mix of open and wooded holes with pins you can attack. Great place for all levels of golfers.
Slowwwww Greens
The course was dry this time and the staff was very friendly. The greens were just terrible again. Lots of non-repaired divots and the slowest I have ever played.
Straight forward
Coming from California I was not sure what to expect from a $25 dollar golf course but was pleasantly surprised at the layout at ShadowBrooke. With the winter and spring that you’ve had the course was surprisingly green yet drained enough to be very playable. Greens a little slow but smooth same as most all of fairways. Certainly worth another trip on my next visit.
Fun course
Friday afternoon not too many people on course due to temperature, cloudy windy and sprinkles. Fun course to play.
Comfortable setting, nice course
Always happy to see you- that’s what it feels like. Enjoyable course as well!!
Shadow brook outing
Considering we were playing in MN in Nov, the course was great! Fairways were awesome and still green!! The only negitive is that the greens were soaked and full of sand! It didn’t matter where you stepped on the greens it was mushy and putting was difficult! Of course anytime you can play 18 holes of golf is a great day!!
FUN in the sun
I had the opportunity to speak w/ Bobby & Tom during and after my round. What a treat! These guys work the grounds so well. I loved every green, rolling true- this late in the season!! Unheard of:)
Thanks guys. I'll be back soon!

West of the Metro quiet track
Quiet course, long ride from town. Fairly flat, narrow fairways, nice greens, decent staff. They had sprinklers running on a few holes, got them to shut them off while we played those holes. Nothing stands out as great or unforgettable, but a fun layout and almost had the place to ourselves on a Sunday afternoon.
A fun 18 hole golf course. Well maintained fairways and greens. You can get in trouble if you don't hit the ball fairly straight.
Making improvements
Enjoyable course. No insect pests. Improved cart paths and good carts.
