You can't believe that it can be more beautiful but it is with the full foliage! Photo submitted by ReneNorton on 06/22/2015
Beautiful well maintained course.
Courteous staff.
A good course...
We enjoyed the round as the weather and conditions were excellent. Many wide fairways. A decent layout. Pace was good.
All in all, a fun day. The drive from the Twin Cities is at the limit of what we would call reasonable.
A quality test
A joy to play. Well worth the drive out from the western suburbs. We’ll be back. Need to get even with a couple of those par 5s.
Great golf, poor customer service
The golf was great but the beverage cart guy and later beverage cart guy and gal drove past my husband and I 3 times and never once stopped to ask if we wanted anything. My husband even tried waving at him and flagging him down. You're not going to make money doing that!
Great course for the price! I will definitely be going back.
Ricky tee
Considering the weather conditions they have had to deal with, not bad.howeever when we have a water problem and drainage issues to deal with. Why are sprinklers running in problem areas during play.???!
Corse was in good condition considering early season and weather conditions.
Public at its finest
A long time standing public course that can please every level of talent and age. With distance off the tee to senior tees. A good rate with carts and cart paths. Driving range. Always have left happy!
Best bang for the buck in TC metro
Shadow Brooke is a gorgeous setting with a beautiful 18 hole layout. It has lots of variety and is worth the drive out of the city. Staff is people friendly and the golf experience is simply terrific. Would recommend to anyone, young or old. Can’t miss. A gem of a course.
Beautiful hidden gem just west of the metro!
Great course! A must-visit if you are a Minnesota golfer. Well-maintained, challenging but playable course for all levels of play. Newly surfaced paths, meticulate groundskeeping. Beautiful gem hidden just west of the metro.
Best Value for Quality of Course
I've been playing courses west of the cities for years, and I find myself returning to Shadowbrooke more and more. It has a fun design that provides plenty of challenges, yet it also provides a lot of freedom to just swing away. A round of golf here is inexpensive and is more fun than other courses in the area.
