Played at 6:04 a.m. and was permitted to play by myself, which was great. Course in beautiful condition, fairways, greens, bunkers all in top shape.
Visiting the area and wanted to play and Swan Lake was ideal. Only negative is they only had 1 water station on the course and that was on the 12th hole. Other than that, no complaints.
Great Course
Great deal great course great shape. Well worth the drive from Mid Nassau County.
Great value!
My wife and I stopped to play this course on our way to the Hamptons. $45 each with a cart and the course was in great shape. We can't find a comparable public course in northern NJ for this price. We played on our way out and our way back from the Hamptons.
Don't pass on this
Not the most challenging course fir low handicappers but an enjoyable course overall. Went out at first light on a Saturday morning and complete in 2 1/2 hours. Friendly faces and voices all around. It's my go to course when I have some kinks to work out Played it a few times last year for the first time and will continue to make that 60 minute drive east in the future.
Great layout
This course is slowly becoming one of my favorite east end courses. The clubhouse food and staff are excellent. Can't wait to play it again
Couse nearby where I live. Impressed with staff. Course in great shape. Hope u gave more hot deals so I can play it more often
Another Great Round at Swan Lake
Course was in great shape. Lots of recent rain made the greens a little slow but they were true.
Great shape,greens very large
Played Tuesday afternoon in3 and 15 minutes.Saturday afternoon played 5 hrs.If you play,play early or late.Highly recommend.
Consistently above average
Great staff - above average conditions. Great food at the turn, but need a cart girl; No one out all day on a holiday weekend with a full tee sheet.
Even after a day of heavy rain. The course was great to play on very few soggy spots. Looking to play next week as well.
Asian Alert at Swan Lake
The greens were okay shape. Looks like they don't roll the greens it appears. The fairways were were in bad shape. They definitely need work. I had two Asians in front of me. They wouldn't let me pass them thru. They played slow and were all over the place.Took 5 minutes every practice swing. I was on the asians the whole round. I hate that when you get in the zone and held up every hole. Gees Im a single let me pass you.It was a golf now hot deal. It was a good price. Would play here again for the right price. Course is wide open. It's a links style course. Nice and friendly staff members there. Still early in the season. Pine Hills is in better shape. Hopefully Swan Lake will dump money into the course in prime season. Pine Hills more tight an not as long of the tee. Swan Lake is.
Nice course and in decent shape. Greens a little bumpy but not too bad. Always enjoy my rounds there, would enjoy more if I wasn't so bad.
Wide open course and great food
I played on a day with strong gusts of wind. It was also a cold day with an overcast.
Now for the great part. The course is one of the first courses that have opened this year. This is the second time this year that I have played.
It is a wide open course, links style with well protected greens. The traps are large and surround many of the holes. I had plenty of practice because most of my shots came up short due to the unpredictable winds.
The fairways are in great condition and the greens are also in fine condition. I am
Looking forward to returning in warmer conditions.
I had lunch at the sister course across the street. Stonewalls restaurant at The Woods at Cherry Creek is a great place to enjoy great food! I feasted on Mussels Fradiavlo, Creme of Broccoli soup and Spinach Salad.
Well done Chef thank you!!!!!!
November golf
The course is in excellent condition from tee to green. Several mature dead trees are being removed for safety and the crews were working without interupting play. A sunny but breezy afternoon on the golf course.
