Town Of Wallkill Golf Club

Course is not a top tier track. But, it is pretty solid course. It is a target golf course with lots of blind shots. Not very long, but requires accuracy since it is tree lined and no bail outs if you are not straight. Conditions were better than I expected and the pace was excellent. Not a wait on a hole all day. Greens where firm but slower than expected considering how firm they were. I will be back.

Staff were great. Range was open. Pro got us out in time.

Due to Covid, couldn’t sample the inside of the area etc but course was fair, in good condition and some holes were great to play. Horseshoe par 5 is a little silly but other holes are great.

Wallkill is priced right, and it's even better if you can get a "Hot Deal." It's a very challenging layout with tight tree lined fairways. It's not an overly long course, but there are some blind shots. Very fair but very challenging.

Greens were in good shape, but some of the fairways were burnt out.

Course and greens were in pretty good shape. There are MANY blind tee shots, but the scorecard has a helpful diagram for each hole, which is definitely worth checking before hitting your shot. We got sandwiched between 2 foursomes, which was fine with us since we were in no rush, and also gave us time to drive up the fairway before each tee shot to see where we should be aiming. They have bells set up on the blind shots so you can let the group behind you know they can hit, and you hear the bells ringing throughout playing. It must also be close to a military base since we heard air raid sirens a couple times. None of this really bothered us, but if you need absolute silence to play, you may not get that here. I did really like how the holes felt secluded and tucked into the forest, but not too tight. A lot of the doglegs make you think about what club to take off the tee, which I enjoyed. I would definitely recommend giving the course a try if you don't mind the blind shots.

Nice course- open and some great green approaches- Was on a hot deal for 35$ on a weekend with cart- can’t beat that

This course is well worth the value. You need to have a dialed in shot to give yourself a chance at posting a decent score. Lots of hazards and woods open for donations. Will be here many more times in the future.

I love playing this course. It is in great shape. Plan to play it a lot more.

The course upkeep was amazingly consistent throughout all 18 holes. Difficult decisions need to be made in order to manage this challenging course.
