Little wet - not unexpected with all the rain lately. Conditions were good. Greens are slow. Fire at the pins and play half the break you see on putts.

Cart path only due to rain before, greens were great just a little slow. The pace of play was 5 hours and no staff monitoring it through out the day.

The course is well laid out so that the pace of play is good. From the 1st tee to the last, each hole is different and offers new challenges. The par 3s are well designed and the par 5s have their own challenge. The staff is very friendly and the small restaurant serves tasty food. The cost to play a round is reasonable and they will be getting electric golf carts with GPS soon. We play here a few times a month and enjoy each round.

I have played Walkill 50+ times. This most recent time was hands down my least favorite. Price has increased and overall quality of the course was bad (and thats being nice). Usually I would rave that this not super long course will challenge your Iron game and be a decently priced public course, not leaving you to feel that you had significantly over paid. But this last time made me feel like it wasnt even worth coming back ever again. I will give the course the benefit of the doubt of it being earlyish in the season, because it is usually in relatively good shape. If it remains in this condition and costs around 70 dollars to play, I will gladly go to any of the other courses in the area.

The rough was high making it hard to locate the ball and grass must have been cut in the past day or so because there was clumps of grass in the fairway hiding the ball at times. the clumps where kind of large which was surprising

First time playing there, it was in fantastic shape. Including tee boxes, fairways and greens. Definitely worth the hour drive for me and the price is right. I’ll be back

Everything worked out great for me. Played as a single ( my preference) and had an early afternoon tee time. Staff was great and starter let me tee off on 10th tee because it would be faster. Fairways, rough ‘s and greens had been cut recently and were in great shape. The greens were in really great shape! The course has a lot of holes where u can’t hit driver. Sharp doglegs, water hazard ‘s,etc. long hitters probably won’t like the layout, but for short hitters and seniors it’s a very pleasant experience!

The course is in beautiful shape. Played in November & barely any leaves. From tee box to greens, the course was very enjoyable.

Love this course and layout.we traveled an hour to play it.wish we lived closer so we could play it more.greens where out standing but they aireated the fairways and will be great in a day or two.
