Broadacres Golf Club
About
Broadacres Golf Club is situated in southern Rockland County on the border between New York and New Jersey. Its convenient location allows for easy access from both states and it's only a 20-minute ride from midtown Manhattan. The golf course has nine holes with an alternate set of tees for an 18-hole round. The layout sprawls across rolling hills dappled with towering oak trees. The golf course incorporates a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. With narrow, tree-lined fairways and undulating greens, accuracy will serve you well on this course. You'll face several doglegs and there are strategically placed bunkers fiercely guarding the greens. Broadacres Golf Club's signature third hole is one of the toughest holes in the area. This par 3 plays up a steep hill to an undulating green.

Worst course I ever played
The course is really bad condition. Imagine yourself hitting from mud patches. Hardly any grass on fairways - rough and bare patches throughout. Greens also in really bad shape.
Staff was friendly and courteous but course is really pathetic
Excellent Value
Excellent value with online special pricing of $25 plus $3 booking fee for 18 holes (2x 9 holes) with cart. Course was in good condition. Dry, hard fairways made for long rolls. Greens were fast and in good shape. Pace of play was excellent. Not a particularly scenic or challenging course, but a real bargain at $25 special rate.
Played here several years ago. Price for noon residents kept us away
Good 9 hole course. Rate with golf now was very good and that is why we played there today.
Aeratiing fairways but still okay play
Great conditions
Although it’s only a 9 hole course that you play twice, I found it to be very enjoyable. I am a beginning golfer so for me it was great. It’s really in very nice conditions, although I would like to see the rough cut a little lower! Hard to find our balls!
Friendly staff
Love playing this course. Always greeted with a smile. We were able to start in time. Had a great day of golf!!
Gets better with age
Great 9 hole course, you have to be straight. Greens are in great condition.

Avoid
Do yourself a favor and avoid playing here. Staff is unfriendly in the “pro shop”. I use that word loosely as this was just a n empty room with a cash register. Don’t think they even sell golf balls here.
Difficult to find this place as it’s right across the street from a mental hospital. Also unclear where to park and even enter the course.
Was also tricked I to thinking this was an 18 hole course as GolfNow failed to mention my 18 holes was actually just 2 rounds of 9. Also overpriced for being a 9 hole course.
All around bad experience. Lots of great places to play in the area for the same or better price. Will avoid coming back here at all costs.

Good 9 hole course
Broadacres is a nice little challenge for a 9 hole course. A lot of the tee shots are tight, which forces accuracy to get your ball in the fairway. The fairways are pretty narrow, but tend to blend in with the rough anyways. The Greens are in very good conditions and putt very true. The staff is always nice and friendly. It's a nice course to get out and play at if you book for the right price.

Nice course
Short, only 9
Holes. In good shape for March.
No carts though, was never told before playing. Golf now should refund me something for that. I paid to ride but had to walk.

This happened to me too! Paid 25 bucks for 18 holes, golfnow said it included car but when I got to the course, they told me no carts.
I too agree there should be some sort of refund (golfnow)
Best value hidden gem !

Improvement needed
This course has potential to be a really nice course but, tee boxes need a makeover, the primary rough is way to high. You spend too much time looking for a ball that rolled five feet off the fairway. I'm guessing they keep the grass high so they dont have to water it so often? Not good, also there are a lot of bare rough spots throughout the course.
The greens are in good shape so that's good but please do some grooming of the course itself. You shouldn't lose balls so close to the fairway. Let us know when things get better.

Limited amenities
Course was in good shape and well laid out. Hard to find with nothing but a soda machine
