Very narrow and fake-nice
This course looks great from any vantage point near the club house. As soon as that’s out of sight, the course is muddy, trees block tee boxes, and it’s extremely narrow.
With River Vale right up the road, there’s no reason to play here. Pace of play was slow at 8am on a Thursday, can’t imagine what a weekend would be like.

Great old time track
Great layout! Tight, tree-lined, hilly and a little slopy. Big greens that break much and roll true. Many uphill approaches so take an extra club or two. Picturesque

Conditions were fair, needs improvement. Rough was non existent. I expect better conditions for the price. Pace of play was good, tee time was 8:30am.

Absolutely love this course!
Had a nice round, however we were the second group out and unfortunately the first group was painfully slow, definitely frustrating! The course is in great shape, and I look forward to another great season at Blue Hill, especially when the restaurant opens up.
