Saturday golf with my wife
It was a very busy sat. We where greeted right away and directed to the first hole . Pace of play was a little slow because it was busy. But my wife an I enjoyed our round . The condition where good .

Layout is awful and pace of play was terrible
Even with extensions between tee times we still were backed up multiple groups around the 6th hole.

Bad course in a bad area. Poorly maintained greens. No carts, they couldn’t explain why. Go somewhere else.

Given Restrictions Due to Covid, Good Experience
Covid Restrictions were in place. Walking only, no ball washers, no rakes. Cups were inverted with pins in place. Not every tee box area had a garbage pail so here and there you would find a pile of cans and bottles which was no big deal. The weather was great, one of the best since the social distancing restrictions went into place so it was busy. That being said, the pace of play was excellent. There was very minimal waiting time to play any of the holes we were on. We had an 11:20 reservation and started on time. Course was in good shape.

GOLF NOW
GOLF NOW SCREWED UP. ME AND ANOTHER GUY WERE NOT ON THE TIME SHEET. GOLF NOW OVER BOOKED. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME GOLF NOW HAS DONE THIS TO ME. THERE WERE A LOT OF PEOPLE AT THE COURSE BUT THE NICE YOUNG MAN (STARTER) FOUND A SPOT FOR US.

For a short course I found it challenging making u use different clubs along with draws, fades and straight shots

No carts
When I booked a foursome, it was advertised with a riding cart. At the course they said no carts and hod been telling Golfnow for 6 days. As a result I didn’t play that day, since my knees can’t navigate the hills. I was told at the course that Golfnow would be calling me about a refund. It’s been two days since, but I haven’t heard from anyone.

Didn’t play
After I booked it for 3 players I received a message from GolfNow that there is only walking no carts and that they left a link to change time or cancel because of that.I tried and cancel because we all use carts but I could not get through.so we did not play and I still got billed for it .I sure hope they can fix it .1st time problem and use it many times .thank you for understanding:Frank

Surprise
Very short course. Surprised that the greens were as good as they were. The fairways need a tremendous amount of work on 75% of the holes.
Unfortunately, saw a lot of beer cans and other debris near all of the tees.
Very good as a practice course for irons and short game.
Booked through golf now, glad that they sent an email regarding the constraints to the golf course now and that they were able to make the last minute adjustment and get the refund.. unfortunately, when you try and get the refund , the runaraound that you have to do is pathetic and on top of it all, you can’t the refund. Why send the email in the first place?

Golf now rip off
I booked this on golf now and paid 70 for 2 golfers with a cart, golf now sent an e Mail last night that the course was walking only I did not want to loose my tee time so I did not cancel when I got to the course it was empty I could have played for 25 each, on top of which course is poorly kept and greens were recently aerated so puts went off line.

Course closed!
I booked a hot buy for today, and when I showed up the course was closed for the season. I don’t know how they can continue to remain booking tee times if they’re closed. I demand a refund!

Great Executive Course
Rolling Oaks is now one of the only executive courses within this area. I play 2-3 times a week throughout Long Island. I am well versed with every public course. This course has fairways that are in great shape with few divots. The greens also are divot free. You will find the staff friendly and accommodating. I always show up early to every golf course. The staff will launch you as soon as your ready to play. . The only negative is poor drainage on two holes that have created ponds . I expect that Brookhaven will rectify this issue. (Hopefully) With the loss of Heatherwood Golf Course I expect to see more rounds of golf played here and possibly even more money used to enhance the course. A few of the approaches are very difficult due to overhanging tree limbs. Overall it’s a great value for your money. As far as off course amenities JRs steakhouse is being renovated and should reopen in 6 weeks.
Iron practice
Foursome of slow play golfers let us play Thought on the second hole after that clear sailing . Coarse in OK shape except for leafs on numerous holes. Like playing here for iron play
