Good for the money
With a Golf Now “Hot Deal” the price of $42 for 18 holes, including a cart is what motivated me to play this course again. The Staff is very friendly and helpful and even allowed me to go out earlier than my schedule tee time as it wasn’t very busy.
Basically, you get what you pay for. Tee boxes were in average shape, fairways are in pretty good shape, greens are in OK shape. Three major areas of concern: 1. The area 20 yards into each of the greens is horrible. No grass, dry dead-pan. 2. Without removing the leaves on the course, it is impossible to find your ball unless you stay on the fairway… And how many of us do that regularly? And lastly, the bunkers. Probably the area that needs the most attention. Very few had rakes, and most of them had more leaves, rocks, gravel, and dirt than sand.
However, overall, the pace of play was good and well worth the money. I wouldn’t pay more often than whatever discount I can get on the GolfNow app with the hot deals, but luckily they are readily available.
Snails pace
Unless you like watching the grass grow and paint dry this is not the place for you...
Took a hot deal for less than 30 bucks I thought I can get some practicing was a disaster I skipped like nine holes..
Couldn't even find the ball on the green there was so many leaves--
You have to punch and run way too frequently the trees give you no angles..-
Waste of real estate.
nice small course plenty of leaves
Nice executive course with a couple of par fives A A few A few par fours And varying distance par threes Playing in October you would expect a lot of leaves and as the name of the course indicates there were a lot of oak leaves making finding your ball a little tough on some holes, the trees overhang, the fairway so some maintenance doing some cut back would help the overall play otherwise I find the course enjoyable
Rolling oaks
Played this course so so many times I get the hot deal at 11.28 Its super cheap The course is in fair shape it does need major tree trimming but that’s what makes it challenging It also needs drainage work but for the money it’s a fast pace round of cheap golf
Good course
Played many times. For me it’s good and difficult at times. Would again
Rolling Oaks - Standard
Standard public course. Tee boxes are hit or miss but they get the job done. Greens are in decent shape with some spots that need work. The pace of play is a result of the skill of people playing. We went out as the first group and finished in just over 3 hours. Scratches the itch
hj
The course had suffered some damage from severe rains so it detracted some from the conditions and play, but still enjoyed playing.
Standing Water
4 holes had flooding and standing water that was not marked and we were not notified even though we explained it was our first time playing the course
Slow play however we were allowed to play through 2 groups which moved things along
No carts
My tee time was 11:28 and when i arrived at 10:55 I was told there were no carts available. The starter also said they were running behind schedule. Needless to say I didn’t begin my round until 12 o’clock a half hour late.
Played twice, fond memories
This was a unique and fun course that I was excited to return to the next day, as long as you understand that it seems that you can get a tee time here when everything else is booked and it is what it is, Rolling Oaks offers plenty of challenge and a decently cared for course that is fun to play .
The greens were stiff, but not unreadable, and I began to enjoy how they rolled after a while. There are ALOT of trees, but it made me use my brain more and I even looked forward to returning to some of the covered tee shots on Par 3’s that required a little more shaping to achieve a result.
I travel for work and play a lot of solo rounds wherever I can get a tee time near my hotel. This place was solid. The Staff was super nice, they even let me play the back 9 when they had a league starting on the front and I was able to play the back twice fairly quickly and be on my way, and it was a challenging and unique layout.
Rolling oaks
Course is small very tight with a need for serious tree removal. Starter was a little annoying but that’s what you get at a course like this. For the price it’s good you get some cheap golf in Course started out this year looking good but needs fertilizer and water and one hole has a very unwelcoming water hazard
