Regulation Eighteen at Smithtown Landing Golf Club
About
Smithtown Landing Golf Club offers both an 18-hole regulation course and a nine-hole executive course. The courses are open to the public on weekdays and to Smithtown residents on the weekends. The Regulation Course has a surprisingly tough layout with subtle but tricky contours throughout that cause some challenging lies. Mature trees line the fairways, making accuracy a necessity and there are also several strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. At 6,114 yards from the back tees, it's a golf course that requires strategy over length, beginning with the first hole. This dogleg right par 4 will force you to carefully think about the placement off the tee. In addition to the two golf courses, Smithtown Landing also has two practice greens with surrounding short game areas and a driving range.

Good Winter golf condition!
Played on a 55-60 degree day in mid-January so can't really complain. Course condition is very clean and fairly well maintained. Course is not very long, no water hazards and min bunker hazards (didn't hit into 1 bunker all day). Pace was quite slow but really bc of the slow 4-some in front of us. Would definitely come back to this course.
Rain Out 5 minutes before Tee Time
I had a Hot Deal at 12:36 P.M. and it started pouring at 12:30 P.M. I tried to cancel and reschedule but Golf Now's web site was not cooperating.

Great Value and Challenging.
The Landing is always in great condition and Henry and the staff there do a great job, as always. Highly recommend for a challenging day of golf.
Beautiful challenging course
Beautiful challenging course that is well maintained with nice views.
Fall leaves being blown off fairways was terrific!
Love to play here
Always a friendly smile when you arrive. Staff is professional and affable. This course is in better shape than some of the higher priced courses in Suffolk County. Not sure how this happens, however please continue to make this club a great place to play at.

Smithtown Landing - October play
It has so long since playing this course I have completely forgot the layout, conditions, etc. So playing was like the first time. If you don't know this course it can be challanging the first time out. The course is hilly and there are a number of blind shots. The course conditions are good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I will come back again.
Great place to play
Today was a little slow. However, everything else was just great. The starter Vito is a true gentleman.
Always well kept
Every time I play this course the experience has always been stellar. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The course is well kept and challenging.
great for the $
fun time, very nice course, staff was very friendly and round was 4 and 1/2 hours. Can't ask much more!

Greens in better shape after aeration a few weeks ago. Shot making course offers challenges for the shorter holes. Rough growing around the greens adds challenges.
JML @ Smithtown
Hilly course , challenging doglegs and some elevated greens. Greens were recently air rated so not true. I would play again.
Summer golf
Staff was great, fairways excellent, greens airated so a some plinko there. ONLU 1 complaint TEE boxes not level. The one shot that should be a level shot!!!
