About
Smithtown Landing Golf Club offers both an 18-hole regulation course and a nine-hole executive course. The courses are open to the public on weekdays and to Smithtown residents on the weekends. The Regulation Course has a surprisingly tough layout with subtle but tricky contours throughout that cause some challenging lies. Mature trees line the fairways, making accuracy a necessity and there are also several strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. At 6,114 yards from the back tees, it's a golf course that requires strategy over length, beginning with the first hole. This dogleg right par 4 will force you to carefully think about the placement off the tee. In addition to the two golf courses, Smithtown Landing also has two practice greens with surrounding short game areas and a driving range.

A nice summer day. The greens are in great shape. The roughs are growing up nicely so stay on the fairway.

Fun Round at Smithtown Landing
Played 18 today at Smithtown Landing. Challenging course, hilly terrain, fast greens and a great
layout. Felt like I was playing somewhere in upstate NY. Excellent staff and good value for your money.
Hometown course. Conditions were good. Pace was unfortunately typically slow.
OFF before the rain
Greens as good as a private club. Much thanks for the starter to get us off early to beat the rain, Pace of play was good until the back nine......3 groups lined up on 10th hole.
Ruined my round-Unacceptable
I have always given this course rave reviews.. The course layout, well kept and staff is terrific.
Perfect weather and pace of play was a bit slow but bearable. We make the turn about 3:00 and the starter let out groups on the back nine,, Getting old myself so careful how I word it but these guys were 78+ years old . The back nine was backed up and I stood there amazed.... We skipped ahead 4 holes and continued our play...I can only give 1 star...

Too short
This course is a little short especially from the white tees and is not very well manicured but pace of play was good. Greens were slow as well. Overall about as expected from a town course.

Not long but pretty challenging
Very nicely maintained course . Need a lot of finesse shots to score well. Greens are deceptive.
A great 9 holes cut short
The staff is always friendly and the course was in great shape. The pace of play was comfortable and the weather was perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing. Had my best 9 holes when my new Epic $529.00 driver snapped on the 9th tee. That’s life take it in stride

Greens just growing in. A little slow. But great shape. Played this course 5 or six times last year. Nice track.
