Average course…
The course was in good condition. The only problem… the ranger could have been more proactive in speeding up the pace. Some how the group in front of me became a 5some, and 1 guy was riding the car standing on the back while the other 2 others were inside the car. This slow things down a lot.
A 20 minute, 6 person party on the second green!!!

If you live on Staten Island, then your choices are very limited. Three courses now run by a new company, which, yes, did work on the courses, but made sure they gouged the public , during and after!
This day, called the Clubhouse to have someone come out and take care of the situation, lo and behold, you are diverted to an off shore call center. Asked to speak to actual clubhouse, and after two attempts was able to get through.
When he finally did arrive, the course marshal sat silently in his cart while we argued with the six-some!!
By the way, if you like people in T-shirts playing on the course with you, this is your place!!!

5-1/2 hour round
Fast round
I was there at 5:30 am had a 5:45 tee time. The 4some ahead of me let me play through and finished in less then 4 hrs
Overcrowded 3 hours to play 9 holes quit after 14 holes at 5 1/2 hours The rough wasn’t cut the greens were good
An extremely long round three hours to play the first nine holes quit after 14 and 5 1/2 hours. It wasn’t getting any quicker. The rough wasn’t cut. The greens were OK. The fairways were OK. It should never take that long to play around the golf.
Seems like they are putting money into the course
Seems like they are putting money into the course. American golf left it in shambles and it seems this company is bringing it back to life, hopefully the rates dont go up much.
Best shape in years
COURSE is in excellent shape, water plants trimmed down... the city amateurs sae being plays this year at Latourette. So expect care to be at its best
Terrible communication about tee times
We had a tee time for 5 o’clock payed for in full two days prior. No one at the course told us there would be a high school boys and girls tournament starting at the same time. Couldn’t tee off from the 1st tee box and wasn’t told until 5:30 to tee off from the 10th tee box.
It was Easter Sunday so course was empty. Conditions were ok for this time of year
