1st round of the year
The greens were still pretty wet, but the course is in good shape.
Get out and play!
Interesting layout.
Front is pretty tight, back fairly open. Tee nieces can use some work. Greens were good. Nice surprise for a first experience.
Another Good Day at Forest Park
It's nice to have a place that's open so early and is so accomodating. Tee markers are in now and all greens are open and playing moderate.
Another good golf day in the heart of Queens.
The course is in very good playing shape for early March. Consistently one of the best golf values in the New York metro area,
winter golf
I messed up, booked a hot deal tee time in advance, the weather changed, but not enough to close the course. There is no refund. I played four holes dry, eight holes wet, winter golf
Poor condition of greens
Wasn’t worth the money when most of the greens were unplayable. Then again it was after a snowfall but days prior, at least charge less money!

The weather was 50+ but not enough to melt all the snow, so two holes had temp pins on the fairway,. The grees hit or miss depending on sun, drainage, basically winter golf.
Good value for your money
I paid $22 for 18 holes. Good value for my money
We had a slow foursome in front of us and it took three of us more than 4 hours to do just 16 holes. Then it got dark.
The weather was fat from perfect and the place was pretty empty but the pace was slow

One of my faves.
I always play well here and meet interesting and nice golfers. That’s why I golf here often.
Always One of My Favorites
I play my best golf here. I love the setting. and the employees are very welcoming.
Playing Late During Fall Season
So many leaves on the fairway & greens. You have to clear the path of your ball towards the hole. This is understandable since it is Fall season.
But there are so many bird (geese?) droppings on the fairways.
Also, the green on #9 & tee-off area of #10 is so close & dangerous for golfers teeing-off on #10.
This is a fun, friendly, challenging course. somewhat short course, but don't let that fooled you with the narrow tree line fairways. The course conditions there are on a constant upgrade for the better. Thank you for the improvement every year.
