bob, the general manager was very sarcastic the way he answered you. Not very nice.
The manager of the course was not very friendly and accommodating. Very rude when you ask something. He should be not be on that position. He never updated the course for such a long time.
Always a fun round
I look forward to playing here because the course brings out the best in me and it is a rustic environment in the middle of the city.
Mondays best.
Best way to spend the first day of vacation. 54 holes of golf on a fun and challenging course. Greens were in excellent condition and played slow in the morning with the morning dew, then moved a little quicker as the firmed up in the heat of the afternoon. The only issues were the tee boxes as usual were horrible due to the amount of players the course gets. Also there were no water coolers around the course as was the normal pre covid practice. As well as no one selling hot food and drinks on the course. They only take credit card now so I guess no point in having them out there. Other than that it was a perfect day to get out and play three rounds on a Monday. Don't try that on the weekend when it's probably so busy your lucky to get 1 round in. The rough was challenging but not overwhelming. The fairways were well groomed and not patchy. The staff as always were friendly. One of the best public courses for mid range players.
Always a fun round
I really like playing here. Tight fairways, a couple of water hazards, and pretty scenery in the middle of Queens. This is a New York City treasure, The rough was thick.
