Good course slowed down
Great track, I played it a bunch during the last 3 years. Fun and challenging holes like the tricky par 3 7th and the monster par 5 11th holes make it a must play in the nyc area, but their rangers need to get people moving. It was easy to see empty holes in front of us and the slow 4some we played behind never got a warning. Turned what should have been an early day 4 hour round into a 5.5 hour round.
Great except took too long
We like Dunwoodie a lot. Conditions were good. The only issue was the pace of play. Took almost 5 hours. It's not usually like that. There was one group holding everyone up and I wish the course would've made them pick up the pace. Hopefully that doesn't happen again as it's a good course.
Pace of play
Golf was in great shape & staff were very professional. The only issue was pace of play. The round was over 5 hours.

Course was good, customer service was not
The course was in decent shape as always. Greens were in excellent shape. Pace of play was okay. The group ahead of us was playing from the tips when their skill level was definitely not up to par.
The lady in the clubhouse was extremely rude and unpleasant to deal with, not accommodating at all. She also had her dog behind the counter with her which I found was a bit unprofessional. The dog also roamed the clubhouse/starter area with her barking at patrons.

Classic Yonkers Contours, Great Pace
My grandfather used to play here and win course championships, so I can always feel the history when I play here. The pacing is always perfect. With the Yonkers landscape, there is a fun flow to the course with some very interesting hole layouts, and I particularly enjoy holes 7-9. Played there four times now and love it as my off-season treat. Well-run too.
gos elec carts
I had arrived late, no problem, I was next up on the tee box. A hilly tight front nine, that opens up on the back, elevated tees and greens. They have electric carts with gps, very nice

Good for December
Everything was good for late December. Course was in decent condition. No aeration or sand when we played. Our only suggestion would be to have a ranger monitor pace of play. It was pretty backed up. Otherwise we like playing Dunwoodie.

City gem gold course
This is a wonderful city course. Greens are true and challenging. Overall course was challenging and good slopes for iron play. Definitely a winner course if you live IN NYC.
