Hilly & short
It is one of the Westchester's municipal courses, and the closest from NYC. The front 9 holes are very hilly, and all 18 holes are relatively short even if you choose the longest black tee. The course condition was nice. There were some beginners in front of us at 1pm tee time, and the entire round took 5 1/2 hours. If you start at morning tee time, it should be OK.
Use to be way better
It’s almost May and the course looks like it’s stuck in December place us to be real nice not even close anymore does not remotely
Look like a course that’s gonna be in good condition anytime soon
Staff
What a day Friday was! Windy a little cloudy but Joe at the desk helped my friends and I get out there on time! He also helped me pick out some golf balls and a new hat. He was busy helping 4/5 people at a time but we all got everything we needed and teed off on time.
Great staff behind the desk, can tell they know a thing or two about golf. Apparently he's also a pro bowler
Like the course, need a ranger to speed things up
I like this course a lot, good value, one of the better public courses in the area. Course was in decent condition for early April. Only complaint (which goes for all public courses) is it needs a ranger to move the slow groups. There was even some clown who drove back all the way to the bathroom at the clubhouse and his buddies waited for him to come back before teeing off on the next hole.
Best public golf course with everything you needed.
Public Golf Course 18 holes par 70 for Man. Short 5800 Black Tee but good layout. Greens condition is good, fastest one in all City public courses. Couple holes need to be caution; tee box and car path close to other green.
Best golf cart in City Course for sure.
Got Driving Range, Chipping area and putting green, really great for beginner or practice round.

Good for the intermediate player
This is a perfect course for a beginner and intermediate player. Very short. Pretty narrow. It’s a good course to learn on and practice your accuracy. Practice keeping the ball in front of you. Left and right is death most holes. Otherwise it is what it is which is a local muni that a good player will beat up and will find very boring. My playing partner and I are single digit HC, we used our driver 3 times all day and 1 of those times we drove the short par 4 (for fun)They do have a nice pro shop and the staff was friendly. Conditions for December are good. Any golf is bonus golf at this time of year.
