TERRIBLE PACE OF PLAY
So my tee time was 2:56pm but wasn't able to get til 15 after 3..
Saw a couple of threesome ahead who looked liked it was their first time out in the course. The 2nd was not much different. And you can see them taking shot after shot because of mishits. So you could imagine how long before they move ahead. Didn't see any ranger to police things like this.The starter couldn't do anything as well because he was at the start. Didn't get to finish my 9th hole til about 6:15. By the way, I was also asked to join another threesome of high school kids who were just hacking shots. I dreaded it until the 9th. But I couldn't go any further with all that's happening. What a waste of money and time!!!

Great course
Never all that busy week nights. Easy to get 18 in after work. Always in decent shape. Easy to get to. All in all just a good fun course

Greens
9. Greens were just punched and sanded ..Putting those 9 greens was next to impossible. No one told us that theses greens were being treated."

Grat day
Great day of golf, despite a number of challenges. One was starting on hole 10. Although I preferred the back 9, the main clubhouse was not prepared to turn food around quickly like the turn house. In fact the hot dogs were awful, barely cooked. And the front 9 holes, which were played second, were recently airated, and covered in sand, All in all, weather great, and very quick round.

Excellent
Conditions were great. Pace of play for a Friday afternoon was terrific- 4 hours. A nice challenging course that's got some nice elevation changes and interesting and varied holes. Only criticism is that I hate an 18th hole that is a par 3, but it is what it is. Definitely worth playing.

the grounds keeping maintenance.. terrible
Well, sadly, disappointed. Serious question. Does Mohansic have a head groundskeeper and crew?
Really too bad ;( It's a good layout.
Greens absolute mess, same with the tee boxes. I guess the fairways will grow in?
Greens were so bumpy, slow you need a bazooka instead of a putter. the holes were crowned.
I dislike writing bad reviews, compared to other public golf courses, from 1-10, right now, this is a 1.

Pace and twilight golfers
Tee time was 332pm we were unanle to finish 18 holes due to the twilight golfers who were pushed on the course at the 10 th hole causing a increase in wait time at the remaining holes.
I have played at this course numerous times and never had a issue with waiting as I did yesterday. I’m hopeful this was a one off issue due to the beautiful day.

Very Solid Test of Golf
Maybe three rounds at Mohansic already this Spring. Course is in good condition and has a solid routing. Hard pressed to find a better value fir the money.

Test of shot making
Nice course that will test shot placement with reward and penalty available. Greens ran faster than expected.. not certain made sense to place all pins on side of hills. Putting at a premium to go low.

Excellent condition
OMG. Me and friend played here to excruciating cold, windy conditions. I've read the reviews regarding the speedy greens as unplayable and I have to disagree. We've played, combined over 50 of the top courses in the country and speedy greens are 1 of the qualities that separate the average, below average, and excellent courses. YOU HAVE TO ADJUST. Thinking about approach shots and flag placement from tee to green will definitely help, especially if you are familiar with the course. Yesterday played like a links course but posting a score of 91 in these conditions makes you proud of your play and ability to think about each shot. For the price, I love a tougher course and that's what we received. Do not adjust the greens please. Excellent shape. Next week we will be playing TPC Boston.
