Simply Golf
Great course but do not expect a snack/beverage cart to come around or an ATM. If strictly coming to golf and intend on bringing your own beverages and snacks, this is your wheelhouse.

Overbooked
They over booked the coarse it was a bad experience I couldn’t even enjoy my round ! I only ended up playing 13 holes it was so slow terrible experience.

Solid Track, Favorite of County Courses
We play here regularly. It is my favorite of the Westchester County courses and a pretty solid track, in its own right. It gets a lot of play but they manage to keep it in pretty good condition. A couple of the greens are pretty sloped and difficult, if that bothers you. A few tough holes. Some blind second shots can annoy first-time players.

Pace of play
As always the pace is EXTREMELY SLOW. To add to that when the owner takes clients out he SHOULD NOT be hitting up on you. I don’t care who you are. You should still have little coarse edict!!! Also the green are HORRIBLE the coarse is going down hill fast.

Long drive
Worth the trip a pretty drive to reach the course I was able to use my driver 90% of the time on the Teebox course was in great shape I’d like the layout the greens are in very good shape The hotdogs were good and they had Guinness as far as I’m concerned the only drawback to the whole course was the staff the starter was a jerk

best county course
mohansic is the best county course it's early in the season so the greens were a little bumpy but overall this is a great challenge

Good Course
Played on a wet day sadly but the course was in good shape still. Ranger was making sure tee boxes were well kept. Starter made sure the intervals were set well too. Tough course however, a lot of hills and not much water.
Big Mo
Course is in fine shape except for hole 12 which was closed. Not sure of the reason. It looked playable to me. Other wise it's still the jewel of the Westchester county public courses.

I want More MO
It was a sunny day early in the season and our Tee time was at 12:30. I knew it would be a long round but actually, it wasn't so bad, maybe 4.5 hours. Greens were in great shape for April and the turf was surprisingly grown in. The rough had some hard pan which is exacerbated by people driving on the playing surface before the grass has been given time to root properly. All in all, Big Mo is a great course with an old time challenging design. Go Play!
