Slow slow pace of play on a Thursday at 1 pm. No rangers moving people along or presence what so ever. Very slow
Decently laid out course, but not maintained well.
One hole on the course was closed as it usually is the last 4 times I've played there over last spring and summer. They are redoing holes one-by-one and they created an extra "make-shift" par 3 hole to make up for it. Course was absolutely covered in leaves causing my group of 4 to lose at least one ball per hole despite the fact we were hitting fairways. Groups in front of us had the same problem and time everyone spent looking for balls that they should have been able to spot normally dramatically slowed down the pace of play. Would never play there again in fall.
Long day
Staff was friendly course was in good shape but five and a half hours to play on a Monday is pretty outrageous. Lot of blind t-shots off the tee boxes they should have bells or something so you don't hit people in front of you. I think a four some came from some previous hole on the 16th hole and snuck in front of the threesome that was walking in front of us. Not sure what was holding us up but just the many blind shots off the tee slows down the smooth traffic.
Unusual layout and temporary holes
My first time was not enjoyable. There are holes that are under construction, but there was no warning in the pro shop and terrible signage. I got lost several times. The layout in general is confusing and in places, poorly laid out. Will likely not go back.
Country club feel
The course was in excellent shape; staff was friendly and accomodating. My only "complaint" was that there were too many "blind" tee shots...and without prior experience, it's tough to get proper sight lines. Overall, though, a great experience.
Nice course if your not in a hurry.
Nice course, afternoons expect 5+ hr round. To be expected at a public course but would be nice if they had someone putting a little pressure on the really slow groups backing it up for the rest. Only takes a few to create the traffic jam.
