Beautiful Course

I had the absolute best time playing this course. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Can't say enough good things about them. This is one outstanding course! The greens were in great shape and taken care of very well. It was very challenging and fun at the same time. Such a beautiful course. I would give this course 10 stars if possible. Can't wait to play again.

Punched greens

Anyone that has lived in Florida for years knows that they punch the greens 3 times during the summer BUT most other courses have the courtesy to mention it. This way the golfer has the choice of playing or not but to show up and have to deal with trying to putt on basically unplayable greens is not fun at all. Big holes half full of sand so all your putts just bounced. $15 is all would pay for a course in this condition

Nice Track

From time I pulled in, I was treated like a “member”. The starter/drop attendant (Gordon) was fantastic. Provided necessary ‘local knowledge’ of the course. Clubhouse cashier was very friendly. The course was friendly and open with few unnecessary tricks or an excess of water hazards common in Fla. The only ‘complaint’ would be a mower blade that was unbalanced creating lines in the fairway and a couple of greens that were starting to get a fungus. Starter at conclusion of round said the greens issue was to be addressed the following day. Had a GREAT TIME!

Great track, but wrong Jacaranda.

Booked on GolfNow but that Jacaranda was in North FL. Luckily the one in Ft. Lauderdale took care of us and got us a spot. I played this one a few times over 40 years ago. Still classic layout. Fantastic condition. We rented 2 sets of. clubs and they were good condition Titleist. Played with a member and he gave us some good insight on the holes. Would definitely go back again on next visit.

Have to do another review for Jacaranda! Played course on Wednesday and just did a standard 4 stars, but played again Friday and what difference…Fairways were beautiful and greens were fast and true..Kudos to the superintendent and workers…Fantastic job.
