Pevely Farms Golf Club

Played on a Wednesday as the weather was awesome. The course was in good condition although the fairways are still dormant. The course was wet so it was cart path only. As a result, the place of play was really slow, a 5 hours & 10 minute round. The driving range was also closed due to the wet conditions. Pevely's layout is good and a fun course to play.

Greens were good, Should be excellent after over-seeding and all the rains

Pevely Farms is always well manicured and greens roll nicely, The staff is great here, and the view afterwards from clubhouse overlooking the valley below is quite grand.

For a fit 65 yr old veteran golfer, CPO on this course is a challenge, but still very enjoyable. Greens have been punched and over seeded for spring growth, and are rolling better every day.

Pevely is a good course with a nice layout. Usually love playing here. However today it was a 5:30 hour round. Even with a starter and a Marshall it was extremely slow. Maybe don’t stack the tee times together in the future.

Showed up for tee time and staff told us we have a minimum of an hour wait due to frost delay. 45 minutes later they are rushing us to the first tee box and telling us we need to play the whites and need to pick up the pace on the very first hole with no other groups behind us. Then the marshall followed us for the next 3 holes yet there’s NOBODY waiting on us and pace of play was about as good as you can get. Staff is rude and all over the place. I paid to play here and respect the course and have courtesy for others, yet staff still feels the need to babysit our group and have an attitude.

Although the pace of play was slow (6 hour round), the course is I in excellent shape. The greens rolled very well. It was cart path only - but I think that is part of the reason the. Purse is in such good shape. Until the grass starts growing again, i agree with their approach.

This was my first time playing this course and the conditions were great for January. The pace of play was great. The course has a great layout and uses the terrain to make you really think about shot choice- this isn't a course you can just over power. I will definitely be back.

Fun course. Hilly so pay attention where you want your ball to land and roll out.

Perfect day for golf, loved the course, staff was amazing, value for the money. The only drawback was that the course was wet and had to use cart paths only. Not a big deal, just got more exercise than I anticipated, lol. I will be back and often!
