Great course for the price
Great course for the price! Only complaint was they left the grass clippings after they mowed so the ball didn’t roll as far as normal.
First time there
Overall I had a good experience. However there was a woman who seems to be a boss there. She needs to work on her interactions with customers as well as employees.
Another fine day at Mulberry
Good course for your money. Not too crowed as its a little out of the way. Staff friendly and course has some interesting layouts. Greens left a little to be desired but tolerable. Good snacks at the turn if you want.
Best Course in Eastern NC
I love this golf course, Great staff fairways and greens perfect. Several Tee boxes to choose from it can be fair to very hard its up to you
Great course well worth the drive 2 hrs for me and i will do it again next week.
Fuzzy but fun
This course is in absolutely beautiful location, and shows glimmers of a former time when seaside country clubs were the thing....but time has moved on, and today, this course needs some TLC. Greens were fuzzy and slow, fairways and tee boxes needed a good mowing. Layout was good, with plenty of water and corners to keep you thinking, although it played quite short and I left my driver in the bag quite a few times. It's had a name change and I presume it's under new ownership. It has potential, and I hope it can get the TLC it needs to shine like it used to.
Love it!
A sweet laid back course. Think this may be the course I will become a member of.
Best course for the price!
You won’t find a better course in the surrounding areas for this price! Play it once a week! Crowded on some days at certain times but that’s to be expected!
Hidden Gem
One of the most enjoyable courses in outer banks area. Well worth the drive from the beach.
Great course
This is my second time playing here. It is a fun, somewhat challenging layout. The greens have started to brown because of recent cold weather but they are still in great shape. The bunkers could use a bit more sand. The tee boxes and fairways are in very good condition. The pace of play was very good. Overall a pleasant round of golf. I will definitely play here again.
Bunkers
Courses in great shape, but definitely needs sand in the bunkers and it would get a five star
Public Golfers Be Careful Booking through Golf Now
Be careful if you are not a member at LatMH and you book through Golf Now. Golf Now appears to be their booking site for the public, but members can walk on and play whenever they like, so it seems, and is not reflected on the GN booking site. I booked a Friday round as a single and it looked like it was wide open, and the reason I chose to drive over an hour and play there. However, when I got there, there were several groups going off 1 and the course was busier than I expected. I also expected the course to be dry, yet the sand traps were full of water, and many cup holes were full of water.
As far as the course is concerned, it is a challenging little track, with many blind shots and some strange design features, making the course look like its been pieced together over the years. Holes 3 and 4 cross the road and are not as well maintained as the others. The back 9 also has some holes that are further away from the rest of the course like 3 and 4 and not as well maintained. The course does have some interesting golf holes, especially the par 5 18th hole. However, for being close to the sound, there are not any holes that really play against the sound that you can see.
Always one of our favorite places!
We had an exceptional experience. The course was busy, but teams were not stacked on top of each other, so we had plenty of time to play at our own pace. The staff is exceptionally hospitable!!
