About Sea Trail Resort Villas
The Sea Trail Resort Villas are located north of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and south of Wilmington, N.C. The property sprawls across 2,600 acres and features three championship golf courses. Villas span from one to four bedrooms in size and are equipped with full kitchens, all within 1.5 miles from the barrier island beaches. Indoor and outdoor pools are available to guests at the activity center, which also includes a game room, shuffleboard and more. Units feature a screened-in porch or balcony. Stay-and-play golf packages are available to Sea Trail Golf Club's Rees Jones, Dan Maples and Willard Byrd golf courses. Sea Trail has two clubhouses with driving ranges, putting greens and a PGA-sanctioned learning center.Facts

Missing marshal
Not overly challenging, lots of dips and mounds in fairways make approach shots trickier. Pace of play for a Thursday midday was way too slow. No rangers to be found. By hole 6 there were 4 groups on a par 4. 1 on box, 1 waiting, 1 on fairway, 1 on green. Course was in good condition, no complaints.

Very nice course
Greens were slow. Layout was awesome. Rough was high so you need to keep it in the fairway. Will play it again.

Worth the drive
Played the Jones course today with my son-in-law and we were paired with a father/son from Tennessee. Staff was very courteous and course was in great shape. Greens held shots well and rolled true.

There is no water coolers on the course and water fountain at convenience centers ere inoperable

Great time, until the last hole
Played with my son-in-law, and my son. We played very well, and the course was in good shape. Had a great time, until the last hole. Whomever the "starter" r whatever he was comes flying up on us as we are approaching the green asking us repeatedly if we "were done". Mind you, our pace of play was less than the recommended 4 1/2 hours, and we had no one behind us all day. His rude and aggressive behavior was uncalled for, and really put a bad spin on an otherwise great round of golf. No need for it, and totally unnecessary.

Great Day on the Jones Course
Playing this course on vacation. I played as a single and got paired up with a member on the front and a snowbird on the back. These guys played the course multiple times and gave me great advice. The course in pretty good shape. There are some burned areas on some greens. Overall I would play here again. Thanks for a good time.

Great for the money
Course was in great shape. Greens were true to read. Not a hard course but has some challenges to keep it interesting.

It's Ok
I booked late on Friday night for a 748 tee time Saturday morning for $40. Greens were slow, bar was open but no breakfast. Course was in decent shape but I wouldn't want to pay more than what I did.

Decent Course
Played the course on a Saturday around lunch time. Pace of play was excellent. Customer service was excellent. Greens are very small and roll slow. Greens are in pretty good shape. Green side bunkers are about 10-15 feet from the start of the greens which was weird. The grass on the tee boxes needs to be mowed lower, it was super high. Cart paths are atrocious. Price is decent for the area.

The course is in great shape! The price to play was very reasonable. The greens, the fairways… better than ever.
Nice course
Course and greens were in great condition. It’s not a top notch course compared to others in the area but I’d definitely play it again as it was in very good shape and budget friendly.. The one’s complaining about the cart paths are funny. Are there some bump and bad spots, yes. But it’s not the worse in the world. Are you there for a nice course or a cart path? Just watch where you’re driving. 🤡s The pics speak for themselves.

Rees Jones Course
This course is very playable for the high handicapper. The conditions were optimum and weather was perfect.
