Awesome advice
What iron are you using?
Sometimes when practicing chips and pitches I begin to hit low spinning shots to the right (right-handed golfer). These are not shanks, but the face of the club must be presenting wide open and I can never figure out what is happening. Psychologically devastating. Any thoughts?
Should one position their hands slightly forward helping to set impact angle? Txs
What's the best way to selected the correct club/degree loft to use for chipping
I have a similar question as others. Should I be aiming down and under the ball, to get plenty of loft? Often I hit too straight and fast.
Great video. Does the swing change any if you’re on an uphill?
Martin,
Can you use the piece of rope to train your eye for chips and pitches? If so, do you align the rope directly at the pin or to the left of it?
Andrew hi, all makes sense, but something I never seem to hear on any shot frankly, is what part of the ball should you be trying to strike? The fixation seems to be ball position, using the bounce on short shots, brushing the turf etc I experiment and confuse myself, help?
Thanks for the tip Andrew.
With these small shots it looks like the energy for the shot comes from turning the hips. What part do the hands and arms play?
Thanks
Noel
