How will this eventually transition into the full swing? I definitely feel that I need to have a bit more weight on my lead leg on the down swing. In particular with short irons ( 60 - 8 iron). But does this carry through to irons 7 - 5 or for that matters any of the woods?
Peter,
Creating spin with those other clubs has more to do with striking the ball first at impact and not as much with the weight being on the left side. The weight does need to be on the left but too much will cause a low shot. Not sure why you want to spin your woods?
