Carolin Pineggar teaches the main keys to handling awkward lies around the green with ease. Match your shoulders to the slope and select a different club to hit spectacular shots from sidehill lies.

Carolin, this is the FIRST time I comment on any of the videos I've seen over the last few years since I've had a membership. Not to say I haven't heard great tips from the others, but this was AWESOME. Thank you. Now let's see if I can translate the lesson unto the fairway. lol
Hi Carolin, would the same loft adjustment apply to the uphill lie, but in reverse? Should I use a less lofted club to achieve the same shot shape?
Carolin, great tip on using the 60! I’ve always used my 56 and it bumps into the hill and either comes up short or way off line from hitting the hill.
So on an uphill chip you should have your weight on your back foot? Also were in you stance should you put the ball?
I’ve tried adjusting my shoulders on uphill and downhill but the ball still shanks to the far right or left .
I don’t have a 60°. I just have a standard SW that came with my Titleist 350 irons. I’ve also been told when the ball is under my feet, I should bend my knees more to lower myself to the ball which you didn’t have to do
Great tip - makes totally sense.
