When does the uncocking of the wrists, or ulnar deviation, occur.

The one part of the release to me is when you uncock your wrists, when your hands reach your right leg on the way down. That uncocking coupled with your turning feels so powerful.

Hey Carolin - I've read about or heard many different theories on how to teach or learn the concept of release. This video is very simple and common sensical, which makes it very easy to understand. I went to the range yesterday after watching it and immediately put it to work. It definitely helped me and I will continue to use this going forward to eliminate the dreaded "wrist flip". Thanks for presenting this in a new way, which is easy to understand and very instructive - well done!

Absolutely love this drill. Easy to translate into a proper golf swing!! Use this drill as a refresher every once in awhile when necessary!

Great drill! As a bogey golfer I've used it DURING a round to get my swing back on track.

Great video, Coach Carolin. I slowed down your slow motion video so I could watch your swing frame-by-frame and it appears that your trail forearm ends up on top of your lead forearm when your hands are roughly half way up your lead leg. The entire "release" appears to take place when your hands are around hip high in the followthrough. That will be my goal as I try simulate your amazing swing.
