Keep Watching
The most common mistake on long pitch shots is a path that is too far inside-out. Correct your path problems with this alignment stick drill from Debbie Doniger and improve your short game.

Would appreciate an explanation of lag putting as you demonstrated the lag put towel drill
Love all the experienced instructors, but especially the Ladies, helping me improve.
Thanks 4 this video - very helpful - Hope you will take this same theory & extend it to show technique in a full swing
Very nice tip
Sorry, but I don't understand when you say keep the club in front of the shaft. Can you explain that differently? When I watch the swing of Debbie I see that she starts with her hands forward and it doesn't look like the club head beats her hands to the ball. Is that what you are trying to say?
thanks
Great tip - I think another important component is to still turn your body thru impact, many players get stiff just using their arms
As so often in the groups very useful and appreciated tips something I miss in most is this the type of lie and club being used is often not mentioned 60degree? 56 degree tight lie etc
Debbie: which wedge were you using with this 40 yd pitch?
What club are you using for a 40 yard pitch shot?
Good stuff here for the short game, thanks!
