Daily Video Tips

Hi Eric, I’m Richard from the UK with a 5 handicap aged 73 . I tried your press down and toss for the first time last week and already am getting 10-12 yds on my driver. Many thanks Eric it’s REALLY helpful to me. Richard
This was an excellent video, and I especially liked the idea of throwing the club back to create width, thank you. :-)
As I throw the club back it seems I over swing back and lose control coming down--is there a way to feel when to stop at the top?
This is a great tip. Way too often I feel like my head is ahead of the ball, especially if I’m hitting a longer iron.
Are those the Olukai shoes? :)
I have those and love them!
Great tip - I've known about keeping the swing width wide for sometime, but narrowing of the swing width creeps back-in after a couple of weeks. Any suggestions to maintain the width of the swing?
It's nice to hit it like Rory. Back to the range for me....
Hi Eric,
Enjoy the tips. A question for you please Eric: how do you maintain width with the driver and indeed all clubs. Some context if I may: I’m 57 weekend warrior I'm averaging 230 - 260 with my driver I’ve managed lately two 300 yarders in favourable conditions but I feel as if I’m pulling the driver back across myself and sometimes I have to take a step backwards as I feel I’m pushing myself off the ball which leads to inconsistency. I need to keep the hands out in front of me and would really appreciate a drill on maintaining width please. Thank you so much & Kind Regards JC Cork Ireland
I try to feel my weight inside my right heel in the takeaway. I then make getting my weight to the outside of my left heel the objective., coupled with this I try to make my right knee touch my left knee.
What I am not conscious of is the width of my takeaway, I need to make sure this is happening. Eric, thank you for this suggestion.
You have taught me so much with respect to gaining vast distance with each of my irons that I cannot wait to try this at the range. Thank you so much!
