I don't think he once mentioned the dreaded s-word that this video was supposed to address.
This approach is very similar to what Clay Ballard teaches.
Looks like the squaring of the club face is coming mostly from the bowing of your lead wrist, not the rotation of your lead arm.
Hi Devan,
How do you work on the timing of 'bowing' of the lead wrist? I noticed your wrist is pretty flat at the top of the swing but undergoes a huge twist at impact - very 'bowed' and moving left of the target. I always thought your wrists set at the top of the swing and you keep the same set angle down to impact. Not so, you are saying. Such a complicated game! Would you 'bow' your wrist for a chip or pitch shot or keep a more neutral grip?
